Ford says Edge production has ended and directs shoppers to certified pre-owned inventory.
What the Ford Edge ST is
The ST was the power-focused version of Ford’s midsize Edge. Cars.com lists the U.S. 2024 Edge ST AWD with a 2.7-liter V6 rated at 335 hp, a seven-speed automatic, all-wheel drive, seating for five, and 21 mpg combined. Those figures identify the U.S. listing; check the window sticker and VIN-specific records when evaluating an individual vehicle.
Ford México’s 2024 catalog describes its market’s ST as a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 with 335 hp and 380 lb-ft, paired with an eight-speed automatic with SelectShift and paddle shifters. It also lists a 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 12-speaker B&O audio, wireless charging, heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, and a panoramic Vista Roof. How the Edge ST drives—and its trade-offs
The ST’s defining advantage over the other listed 2024 Edge trims is its higher-output V6, paired with standard AWD. Car and Driver characterizes the ST as sporty, but also says its price overlaps with the Lincoln Nautilus and that the Edge feels dated beside newer rivals. There is also a fuel-economy trade-off in the listed figures: the ST is rated at 21 mpg combined, compared with 23 mpg combined for the other listed 2024 Edge trims. A buyer deciding between the ST and a less powerful Edge should weigh that difference against the V6’s added output and the ST’s higher original price.
2024 Edge ST pricing and trim comparison
Cars.com lists these U.S. 2024 model-year starting MSRPs. They are new-model starting prices, not current dealer prices or estimates of what a used Edge costs today. The ST-Line is not an ST with the same powertrain: Cars.com lists the ST-Line and the other non-ST trims with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 250 hp.

Used prices and what to check before buying
There is no single current used price established here: asking prices vary by location, mileage, condition, maintenance and accident history, and equipment. Compare actual listings for the same model year and similar mileage, and account for documented service and the vehicle’s condition rather than using the 2024 starting MSRP as a valuation.

- Confirm the exact model year, trim, drivetrain, transmission, and equipment from the VIN and window sticker.
- Review maintenance records and have the vehicle inspected; look for evidence of collision repairs and confirm the title and accident history.
- Check current recalls by VIN and verify the seller’s asking price against comparable local listings.
