Ford Blue Advantage certified pre-owned vehicles from participating Ford dealers can be shopped through Amazon Autos. Buyers can review listings, explore financing where available, and complete much of the paperwork online, but the dealer—not Amazon—sets the vehicle’s price, handles pickup, and remains the point of contact for service. Ford and Amazon announced Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas as launch markets in November 2025; current availability varies by location, dealer participation, and inventory.

What is the Ford and Amazon Autos collaboration?

It brings Ford Blue Advantage certified pre-owned vehicles from participating Ford dealers to Amazon Autos. Amazon provides the online shopping and transaction tools; the participating dealer is the vehicle seller. Ford and Amazon described listings with vehicle history, specifications, service history, condition reports, and itemized pricing. Review the specific listing and ask the dealer about anything important that is missing or unclear.

The launch announcement described inventory from participating Ford dealers within a 75-mile radius. That was the announced shopping radius, not a guarantee that every shopper will find a vehicle within that distance today. Amazon’s current guide reports more than 1,000 participating dealers in more than 130 U.S. cities across its platform; those are platform-wide figures, not counts for Ford Blue Advantage listings. Amazon’s buying guide says availability varies by market and inventory.

What’s the difference between a certified pre-owned Ford and a regular used car?

Ford Blue Advantage vehicles must meet a program tier’s eligibility requirements and inspection threshold, and come with Ford-backed warranty coverage and roadside assistance as described by Ford. A regular used vehicle does not necessarily meet those certification requirements. Certification is not a substitute for checking a vehicle’s history, condition, warranty documents, and price.

Ford Blue Advantage tiers

Ford’s current eligibility rules distinguish the three tiers by vehicle age, mileage, and type. Inspection counts and warranty terms below are those Ford described in its 2025 launch materials; confirm the terms in the individual vehicle’s documents.

Tier Eligibility stated by Ford Inspection and comprehensive limited warranty in Ford’s 2025 launch materials
Gold Certified Ford models up to six years old and under 80,000 miles 172-point inspection; 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first
EV Certified Fully electric Ford vehicles up to six years old and under 80,000 miles 127-point inspection; Gold-equivalent comprehensive limited warranty
Blue Certified Any make or model up to 10 years old and under 150,000 miles 139-point inspection; 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first

Ford also says Blue Advantage vehicles include a free CARFAX Vehicle History Report. Ford describes Ford Rewards points for eligible enrollments made within 60 days, with amounts varying by tier. These are program benefits, not a reason to assume that every buyer or listing qualifies; check the live Ford Blue Advantage terms and the vehicle’s listing.

There is a separate Amazon listing limit to keep in mind: Amazon’s dealer materials say used and CPO inventory listed on its platform must be no older than 10 years and have no more than 100,000 miles. That platform criterion differs from Ford Blue Certified’s stated allowance of up to 150,000 miles. A vehicle’s Ford certification eligibility does not by itself mean it meets Amazon’s listing criteria.

How do I find a certified pre-owned Ford on Amazon?

  1. Open Amazon Autos and search for vehicles in your area. Availability depends on your market, participating dealers, and current inventory.
  2. Open a Ford Blue Advantage listing and verify its certification tier, age, mileage, history report, service information, condition details, and stated warranty.
  3. Review the dealer’s itemized price and any taxes, fees, financing choices, trade-in terms, or optional protection products before proceeding.
  4. Contact the dealer through the listing if a material detail is unclear, or if you need to confirm vehicle condition, included equipment, or the documents governing the sale.

Ford’s program page describes a free CARFAX report for Blue Advantage vehicles, while Amazon’s launch materials describe history, specification, service, and condition information in listings. Check that the information is available for the specific vehicle you are considering rather than assuming every detail is displayed in the same way.

Can I complete the entire purchase online?

No—not necessarily. Amazon describes an online process for browsing, reviewing itemized prices, choosing finance, lease, or pay-in-full, applying for financing where available, and starting paperwork. The vehicle is picked up from the participating dealership, and some signatures may still be required in person.

Amazon says pickup is scheduled at the dealership and typically takes place within one to three days after deposit. Treat that as a typical timeframe, not a guaranteed appointment: confirm timing with the dealer before paying or arranging travel.

Who manages my relationship after I buy a car through Amazon Autos?

The Ford dealer remains responsible for the vehicle sale, pickup, and subsequent service. Amazon is the shopping platform, not the seller or the place that provides ongoing vehicle service. Before purchasing, confirm which dealership will handle future service and how to contact it.

Is financing available?

Amazon’s buying flow includes financing applications where available, alongside lease and pay-in-full options. Lender choices depend on the market and dealer integrations, and approval and terms depend on the shopper’s qualifications. Compare the APR, loan term, monthly payment, and total amount payable—not just the payment shown in a listing—and confirm all terms with the lender and dealer before signing.

Where is the Ford Amazon Autos program available?

Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas were the launch markets named by Ford and Amazon in November 2025. Amazon’s current materials describe expansion across its broader Autos platform, but do not establish that Ford Blue Advantage inventory is available to every shopper in every listed platform market. Search your location and verify that a specific Ford CPO listing and participating dealer are available.

What are the customer benefits of buying a CPO Ford on Amazon?

The practical benefit is a way to compare participating dealers’ Ford Blue Advantage listings online and begin much of the purchase process digitally, while still buying from a Ford dealer. The vehicle’s certification tier may also include an inspection, Ford-backed warranty coverage, roadside assistance, and a Ford-described CARFAX report. These are not evidence of a particular vehicle’s reliability, a lower price, or a better buying outcome; evaluate the actual listing and sale terms.

Check these details before committing

  • Certification: Confirm the tier, eligibility, inspection documentation, and exact warranty terms.
  • Vehicle condition: Read the history, service, and condition information; ask about missing or unclear details.
  • Total cost: Review dealer-set price, taxes, fees, financing terms, trade-in value, and optional protection products.
  • Return terms: Read the policy that applies to the exact listing and your state, including any deadlines and mileage limits.
  • Pickup and service: Confirm the dealership, pickup appointment, required in-person paperwork, and future service contact.

Which return policy applies?

Official Ford and Amazon materials describe different return-policy terms, so do not assume one universal window. Ford’s launch announcement and current Blue Advantage page describe a 14-day/1,000-mile money-back guarantee, whichever comes first, for the relevant Ford Blue Advantage purchases. Amazon’s current general consumer guide describes a minimum 3-day/300-mile return policy for used and CPO purchases and notes that terms may vary in certain states. The published materials do not explain how the policies interact or establish identical terms for every listing and state. Before relying on a return window, check the specific listing, dealer documents, and applicable state terms.
