Kia launched the Sorento in Pakistan in February 2021 with three petrol variants: 2.4 FWD, 2.4 AWD and 3.5 FWD. The “fourth-generation” label needs qualification: contemporary launch coverage debated whether that was the generation Pakistan received, while newer Kia Pakistan material shows a separate lineup that includes hybrid models. This first look covers the locally specified 2021 launch car and keeps those later offerings distinct.
Kia Sorento 2021 price in Pakistan at launch
PakWheels reported these launch-era prices in 2021. They are historical figures, not current new-car prices or used-car valuations.
| 2021 launch variant | Engine and drivetrain | Launch price |
|---|---|---|
| 2.4 FWD | 2.4L petrol, front-wheel drive | PKR 6,999,000 (PakWheels, 2021) |
| 2.4 AWD | 2.4L petrol, all-wheel drive | PKR 7,999,000 (PakWheels, 2021) |
| 3.5 FWD | 3.5L V6 petrol, front-wheel drive | PKR 8,399,000 (PakWheels, 2021) |
Kia Pakistan’s current price information is dynamic and does not establish a reliable present-day price for each Sorento trim here. Its official page says listed ex-factory prices exclude withholding tax, freight and insurance. For a purchase, get a dated quote from an authorized dealer for your city and confirm stock, applicable charges and delivery terms; Kia says the tentative delivery month on the signed, system-generated provisional booking order is the valid reference. See the Kia Pakistan price list and dealer search.
2.4 vs 3.5: what changed?
The local specification table gives the 2.4L more than one drivetrain choice, while the V6 was listed only with front-wheel drive. The outputs and transmissions below are published specifications from Kia Motors Port Qasim; its page does not state a publication date.

How the 2021 launch car differs from the newer Sorento lineup
Kia-affiliated Pakistan materials now show Sorento versions with a 1.6L turbo-hybrid powertrain in FWD and AWD configurations alongside a 3.5L V6 FWD. These are a distinct, newer market/model context—not additional specifications for the 2021 2.4L and V6 launch variants. Dealer-result prices have varied, and are not a reliable current national price guide. Check the current Kia Pakistan Sorento page and confirm the exact model, powertrain, price, warranty, stock and delivery terms with an authorized dealer.

What this first look can—and cannot—tell you
Pakistan review material exists, including an ApniMotor video from February 2021 described as a full tour of a top-of-the-line variant and a PakWheels owner-review video for a 2.4 FWD. Their titles and descriptions establish that coverage exists, but they do not by themselves substantiate measured fuel economy, acceleration, reliability or a hands-on driving verdict. This article therefore sticks to published local specifications and dated launch information rather than implying a road test.
For ownership questions, Kia Pakistan provides links to its service, parts, tyres, accessories, warranty and Auto Takaful resources through its official site. Confirm the relevant terms for the exact model and vehicle with Kia or an authorized dealer.
