The Baltic Tricompax x Tour Auto 2024 is a numbered rally-timing set built around a hand-wound chronograph—not just a watch with event branding. It pairs the watch with a flyback stopwatch and a dash clock, plus two ways to wear the chronograph. Baltic made 500 packs for its second consecutive year as Tour Auto’s official timekeeper; Fratello reported the set officially sold out in May 2024.
What comes with the Baltic Tricompax Tour Auto set?
The chronograph is the centerpiece, but the bundle is designed as a small timing kit for a classic-car rally. Baltic’s archived product page lists the following items:
- The hand-wound Tricompax chronograph.
- A Rally Timer set containing a flyback stopwatch and a dash clock.
- A flat-link steel bracelet and a navy Alcantara strap.
- Bracelet adjustment tools and a custom case.
Baltic describes the stopwatch as light grey, with a flyback function and a Hanhart hand-wound movement. The accompanying dash clock has a black dial. Hodinkee identifies its movement as a Seagull ST3600 Type 6497; that movement identification is Hodinkee’s reporting, rather than a specification listed by Baltic.
What are the watch’s specifications?
Baltic specifies a 316L stainless-steel case measuring 39.5 mm in diameter, 47 mm lug-to-lug and 13.5 mm thick including the crystal (11 mm without it). The lugs are 20 mm wide. The case is rated to 50 m/5 ATM water resistance.

The black-ringed subdials and special dial colors connect the design to Tour Auto’s visual identity, according to Baltic. Monochrome characterizes the blue, red and light-and-dark accents as part of a 1960s racing-inspired design; that is the publication’s description, not a formal design-history claim.
How does the set connect to Tour Auto?
Baltic says it accompanied competitors from Paris to Biarritz as the event’s official timekeeper for a second consecutive year. The 2024 itinerary began at Paris Expo/Porte de Versailles on April 21–22, then proceeded through Tours on April 23, Limoges on April 24, Carcassonne on April 25 and Pau on April 26, before reaching Biarritz on April 27.

Monochrome describes Tour Auto as the historic reincarnation of the Tour de France Automobile, which it says was created in 1899 by the Automobile Club de France. The set’s rally-timing accessories make that event connection more than a dial detail: the bundle includes separate instruments for timing and dashboard use alongside the wristwatch.

Baltic’s 2024 product page says the edition consisted of 500 numbered packs and that the brand would never reproduce it. That is Baltic’s stated position on the edition, not a guarantee about future resale listings or product developments.

Launch-price reports differ by publication and tax context. Hodinkee reported an April 22, 2024 launch price of €2,100. In a May 11, 2024 road test, Fratello reported €2,541 including taxes and said the set was officially sold out. These are historical reports, not current asking prices or confirmation of present stock.
