Ferrari’s first all-electric car was introduced as the Elettrica project; in 2026, the production car was presented under the name Luce. Ferrari’s October 2025 technical sheet listed more than 1,000 cv in boost mode, range above 530 km and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 2.5 seconds. These are manufacturer-published figures, not independent test results.
Ferrari Elettrica and Luce specs
| Specification | Published figure | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Power | More than 1,000 cv in boost mode | Ferrari, 2025 technical sheet |
| Range | More than 530 km | Ferrari, 2025 technical sheet |
| 0–100 km/h | 2.5 seconds | Ferrari, 2025 technical sheet |
| Motor layout | Four electric motors, one per wheel | Associated Press, 2026 |
The figures describe Ferrari’s announced technical targets and reported production-car details. The available sources do not specify a range-test cycle, so the 530-km figure should not be treated as a directly comparable result against vehicles rated under a named cycle.
What is the Ferrari Elettrica called now?
Elettrica was the project label used for Ferrari’s first fully electric car. Ferrari later presented the production car as the Luce. The names refer to the same electric-car program at different stages, rather than two separate models.
How fast and powerful is the electric Ferrari?
Ferrari’s 2025 technical sheet says the car produces more than 1,000 cv in boost mode and reaches 100 km/h from rest in 2.5 seconds. The Associated Press reported in 2026 that the production Luce has four motors—one at each wheel—and cited 1,000 horsepower and the same 2.5-second acceleration claim. The power figures use different units and wording, so they should not be read as two separate output ratings.

How far can the Ferrari Luce travel?
Ferrari’s published 2025 figure is range above 530 km. The Associated Press later reported an estimated range above 530 km, also giving the equivalent as 329 miles. Neither source establishes a specific test cycle in the material available here, so actual range and market-specific official ratings remain unsettled.
What is known about its sound and materials?
An October 2025 Associated Press report described a sound system that captures powertrain vibration with accelerometers on the rear axle and amplifies it to create a sports-car roar. That is AP’s description of the planned system, not a direct quotation from Ferrari.

AP also reported that the car uses 75% recycled aluminum and that Ferrari stated this saves 6.7 tonnes of CO₂ per vehicle. Those are reported material and emissions claims, not independent lifecycle findings.
Is the Luce replacing Ferrari’s combustion and hybrid cars?
No. Ferrari’s October 2025 Capital Markets Day materials positioned the electric car as an addition to its range. The company’s stated 2030 mix target was 40% internal-combustion, 40% hybrid and 20% electric. These are Ferrari’s announced targets, not measured sales or a guarantee of the eventual product mix.

How much will the Ferrari Luce cost, and when will it go on sale?
A confirmed final price and sale date are not established by the available sources. AP reported that Italian media had put the sticker price at about €500,000, but this was a media estimate, not a Ferrari-confirmed price. AP said US pricing had not been announced. Final specifications by market and on-sale timing also remain unconfirmed in these reports.
