For the U.S. market, Cars.com lists a 2026 Ferrari 296 GTS starting MSRP of $368,134. That is a third-party model-year listing—not a Ferrari factory quote or an out-the-door price. Options, taxes, dealer inventory and a used car’s mileage and condition can change the total, so confirm local availability and a configured price with a Ferrari dealer. Ferrari’s 2026 results presentation lists the 296 GTS among models phased out in 2026; that does not establish whether a particular dealer has new inventory or remaining order slots.
How much does a Ferrari 296 GTS cost?
The clearest GTS-specific price reference here is Cars.com’s U.S. listing for a 2026 model:
| Price reference | What it represents |
|---|---|
| $368,134 | Cars.com’s listed 2026 Ferrari 296 GTS starting MSRP in the U.S.; a third-party reference, not a Ferrari factory quote, configured price or out-the-door total. Cars.com |
| $338,250–$475,364 | Car and Driver’s displayed range for combined 2026 296 GTB/296 GTS coverage. It does not isolate the GTS, so the upper figure should not be treated as a GTS price. Car and Driver |
Neither reference establishes what an individual car will cost after options, taxes, fees or negotiation. For a used example, advertised price also needs to be considered alongside mileage, condition, service history, warranty terms and equipment. To compare listings fairly, match market and currency, model year, new or used status, mileage and condition, and whether the car has Assetto Fiorano or lightweight equipment. Ferrari’s published sources do not provide a consistent official trim-by-trim or option-price table, so an exact option-adjusted comparison is not established here.
Ferrari’s 2026 results presentation includes the 296 GTS among models phased out in 2026. That model-cycle note does not confirm local stock or order availability; ask a Ferrari dealer about current inventory and the specification and price of the particular car.

What is the Ferrari 296 GTS?
The 296 GTS is a two-seat, rear-mid-engine plug-in hybrid spider. It pairs a 120-degree, twin-turbocharged V6 with an electric motor and an eight-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari described it in its 19 April 2022 launch release as “the latest evolution of Maranello’s mid-rear-engined two-seater berlinetta spider.” At launch, Ferrari called it the first six-cylinder road-going spider to wear the Prancing Horse badge; that is launch-era context, not a claim about every later Ferrari model.

Ferrari’s technical sheet lists fuel consumption of 8.5 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions of 205 g/km. The sheet does not establish a test protocol or market context here, so these figures should not be compared directly with local regulatory labels without checking the relevant market’s testing method.
How fast is the Ferrari 296 GTS?
Ferrari specifies 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 7.6 seconds and a maximum speed above 330 km/h. Those are manufacturer-published figures; they are not independent test measurements. Ferrari separately rates the combustion engine at 663 cv and the complete hybrid system at 610 kW (830 cv), so the two output figures describe different parts of the powertrain.

Retractable hard top
The retractable hard top divides into two sections that fold over the engine area. Ferrari Magazine says the roof takes 14 seconds to deploy and can be operated at speeds up to 45 km/h. Ferrari Magazine’s “Summer Fun” feature describes the mechanism and includes official 296 GTS photography.
Electric driving
Ferrari’s 2022 launch release states an all-electric eDrive range of 25 km. This is Ferrari’s stated figure, not a real-world test result. The 2025 technical sheet lists the high-voltage battery capacity as 7.45 kWh.

What to check before buying a 296 GTS
- Ask the dealer for the car’s market-specific price, complete option list and any taxes or fees not included in the advertised figure.
- For a used car, verify mileage, condition and service history, and review the warranty terms for that exact vehicle.
- Confirm whether Assetto Fiorano or lightweight equipment is fitted; these affect how a listing should be compared with another example.
- Check current local stock or order availability directly with a Ferrari dealer, particularly given Ferrari’s 2026 model-cycle listing.
Ferrari Approved coverage is regional and listing-specific. One cited European listing describes warranty coverage and roadside assistance for up to 24 months in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and 12 months in the rest of the world; those terms are not a guarantee for every vehicle or market. Ask the seller to confirm the coverage that applies to the car you are considering.
