There is no official Fast & Furious top ten, but a strong shortlist spans Dom Toretto’s black Dodge Charger, Brian O’Conner’s orange Toyota Supra, and the Japanese tuner cars that helped define the series. These ten picks are an editorial selection, not a ranked franchise list. The cars are identified by their screen associations; where a precise year or build is not established by the cited sources, it is left open rather than guessed.

What makes a Fast & Furious car iconic?

The franchise’s car appeal comes from its contrast: American muscle cars sit alongside Japanese sports cars and tuners, each tied to a character, a memorable look, or a story moment. Universal’s March 4, 2026 spotlight on its Fast & Furious ride vehicles names four signature inspirations—the Charger, RX-7, Skyline GT-R and Supra—but does not rank the franchise’s movie cars. Universal’s announcement is about theme-park ride vehicles inspired by cars, not a definitive inventory of every car used on screen.

10 memorable cars from Fast & Furious

  1. 1970 Dodge Charger — Dom Toretto

Dom’s black Charger is the franchise’s defining American muscle car: imposing, unmistakable and closely associated with his identity. Universal describes the 1970 Charger as Dom’s signature car featured throughout the franchise. The ride vehicle is inspired by that car; it should not be mistaken for a specification sheet for every Charger seen in the films. Universal Studios Hollywood

  2. 1994 Toyota Supra Mark IV — Brian O’Conner

Brian’s bright orange Supra from the original The Fast and the Furious is one of the series’ most recognizable tuner cars. Toyota identifies it as a 1994 Supra with a 2JZ-GTE engine and distinctive orange graphics, and says it reprised its role in 2 Fast 2 Furious. That describes the film car’s identity, not a claim that every Supra build in the franchise shares the same equipment. Toyota Australia

  3. Nissan Skyline GT-R — Brian O’Conner

The Skyline represents the franchise’s Japanese performance-car side. Universal’s current ride announcement identifies a blue 2002 Skyline GT-R as a Brian O’Conner ride inspiration. The screen cars and descriptions vary across the films and coverage, so this pick refers to Universal’s stated ride inspiration rather than assigning that year to every Skyline associated with Brian. Universal Studios Hollywood

  4. Mazda RX-7 — Han

Han’s modified RX-7 is a standout from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, remembered for its dramatic VeilSide styling. MotorTrend identifies Han’s car as a modified RX-7, while Universal describes its ride-vehicle inspiration as a 1997-model RX-7. The 1997 designation belongs to the ride inspiration; it should not be treated as a verified specification for every screen build. Universal Studios Hollywood; MotorTrend

    • This premium die - cast model is a must have for any Fast & Furious collection
  5. 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS — Brian O’Conner

The green Eclipse from the first film gives Brian an early, vivid tuner-car identity before the Supra becomes the better-known association. MotorTrend includes a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS in its selection of notable franchise cars, as does the official collection brochure. Those references support its place on an iconic-car shortlist; they do not establish detailed screen-build specifications here. MotorTrend; Universal Products & Experiences collection brochure

  6. Honda S2000 — a tuner-era standout

The S2000 belongs among the franchise’s memorable Japanese sports-car choices, and its inclusion reflects the series’ broader tuner identity rather than a claim that it is one of the four cars Universal singled out for its ride. MotorTrend includes an S2000 in its editorial selection, and Classic & Sports Car discusses it alongside the Charger, Supra and Skyline GT-R as part of the films’ car culture. The cited material does not establish a specific film, driver or year for the screen car, so those details are not assigned here. MotorTrend; Classic & Sports Car

    • Suitable for ages 8+
  7. 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback — Tokyo Drift

This Mustang is memorable for the collision of two automotive identities: a classic American fastback and an RB26 engine swap. MotorTrend highlights the car in its coverage of Tokyo Drift. The unusual build makes it a useful reminder that a movie car’s identity can come from both its body style and the changes made for the screen. MotorTrend

  8. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII — 2 Fast 2 Furious

MotorTrend includes a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII associated with 2 Fast 2 Furious. Its inclusion broadens the list beyond the franchise’s most famous coupes: the Evo brings the high-performance sedan into the series’ tuner-car mix. The source supports the model-year and film association, but not a detailed account of the screen car’s modifications. MotorTrend

  9. Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept — Fast X

The Charger Daytona tied to Fast X is a modern, electric-era contrast to Dom’s classic muscle car. MotorTrend lists a 2022 Daytona SRT EV in its franchise-car selection. This is a film-associated concept/vehicle identity, not the classic 1970 Charger and not a claim about a production road car’s specifications. MotorTrend

  10. 2010 Dodge Charger SRT-8 — the Fast Five vault cars

The Charger vault cars in Fast Five turn a familiar muscle-car shape into part of the film’s central action set piece. MotorTrend includes the 2010 Charger SRT-8 vault cars in its list. Their place here is about their role in the sequence and the way the film uses the Charger; the pick is separate from Dom’s signature 1970 model. MotorTrend

Are these the official top 10 Fast & Furious cars?

No. “Most iconic” is a judgment, and neither Universal’s ride announcement nor MotorTrend’s editorial top-20 presents an official franchise-wide top ten. The list above combines Universal’s four current ride inspirations with candidates selected by automotive publications and the film series’ recognizable car identities. Universal Studios Hollywood; MotorTrend

Can you collect Fast & Furious model cars?

Universal’s collection brochure describes 1:43-scale die-cast metal and ABS models and names several franchise cars. That confirms the category exists, but not current shop inventory or availability. If you are looking for one, search for Fast & Furious 1:43 die-cast car models and check the seller’s listing for the precise car, scale and licensing details.
