Benzina Zero is an Australian electric-micromobility brand—not a type of petrol or an emissions standard. It describes products for personal transport and business use, including scooters, mopeds and e-bikes. If you are considering one of its scooters, treat published specifications as market-specific claims and check local pricing, vehicle rules and service support before buying.
What is Benzina Zero?
Benzina Zero develops or distributes electric vehicles intended to move people and goods. The company says its founders, Joe D’Ercole and Ben Silver, saw electric scooters as a practical option for everyday travel and deliveries. That account of the company’s origins comes from Benzina Zero itself, as does its description of the name as meaning “Zero Fuel.” Benzina Zero’s about page
The name can cause confusion: Benzina Zero is also the name of a separate Italian-language blog by Gianni Lombardi about urban transport, including walking, cycling and public transport. That blog is not the Australian vehicle company. Italian-language Benzina Zero blog
What does the company sell?
Benzina Zero and its LinkedIn profile refer to electric scooters, mopeds and e-bikes. Its stated focus spans personal mobility and business use, including deliveries. The available company material does not establish a complete current product catalogue or a comprehensive list of countries where its products are sold. Benzina Zero on LinkedIn

How should you compare the DUO and DUO+?
On the dealer’s figures, the DUO+ has a higher stated maximum speed and is slightly heavier, while the DUO has the longer claimed range. The listed charging time is the same, and the starting prices are close. Those figures alone do not determine which model is suitable: a faster scooter may be subject to different local requirements, and a claimed range is not a guarantee of real-world distance.
