What Eli’s production announcement establishes
In its 2024 financial statement exhibit, Eli stated: “The Company has developed its first micro-EV model, the Eli ZERO, and has begun small-batch production with limited sales in Europe.” Eli’s SEC-filed statement is evidence of production and limited European sales, not a report of mass production or a U.S. launch.

The filing does not say when production began, how many vehicles were built, or when the first customer vehicle was delivered. Eli’s annual report separately says the company had not reached mass production in 2024. Those distinctions matter: small-batch production and limited sales do not mean broad availability.
U.S. sales: a past target, not a confirmed launch
Eli said its production was based in China and that U.S. tariffs on China-manufactured electric vehicles and low-speed vehicles exceeded 100%, making its planned U.S. launch financially impractical. In its annual report, the company said it delayed the launch to 2025 and was working toward a late-2025 introduction. That timing is the company’s forecast at the time of the report; it is not confirmation that U.S. sales later began.

Eli’s support pages previously described dealer-assisted ordering and said availability could vary by area. Their early-2025 timing cannot establish present ordering or delivery status. The available information does not verify whether reservations were fulfilled or whether there is currently an active U.S. dealer network. Eli describes the ZERO as a two-seat low-speed vehicle (LSV), also called a neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV) in the United States, and an L6e light quadricycle in the European Union. Eli says actual range can vary with load, air-conditioning use, temperature, slope, and driving habits.
