There is no evidence-based universal winner. The Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini is a numbered, high-cost collector edition derived from the Panigale V4 S, while the 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa is a substantially less expensive 1,340 cc sportbike designed around broad road use and electronic rider aids. The right choice depends first on budget and availability, then on whether you value limited-edition construction and track hardware or a larger fuel tank, everyday practicality and a much lower purchase price.
Using Ducati’s North American and global specifications and Suzuki Motor USA’s 2025 model information, this comparison separates confirmed facts from conclusions that would require independent back-to-back testing. Official specifications do not establish which motorcycle is faster on a particular road, more comfortable, more reliable or quicker around a circuit.

The short answer: choose by mission, not by badge
Choose the Panigale V4 Lamborghini if you are seeking a scarce, numbered Ducati with carbon-fiber bodywork, Öhlins electronic suspension, a titanium silencer, forged wheels and Lamborghini-themed detailing, and you can justify a US list price of $78,400. The separate Speciale Clienti version is listed at $100,400 and is reserved for Lamborghini customers.
Choose the 2025 Hayabusa if your priority is obtaining a flagship sportbike for a far lower outlay. Suzuki lists a US base MSRP of $19,399 plus a $600 destination charge, before taxes, title, registration, dealer fees and optional equipment. It has a 1,340 cc inline-four, adjustable KYB suspension, Brembo Stylema front brakes, a 20-liter fuel tank and rider aids such as Launch Control and Smart Cruise Control.

Those are different propositions rather than two trims competing for the same buyer. The Ducati is a limited collector object with track-oriented equipment; the Suzuki is a series-production motorcycle whose published equipment targets high-performance road riding. Neither manufacturer’s specification sheet proves a universal performance or comfort advantage.
What each motorcycle represents
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini
Ducati presents this motorcycle as a limited edition based on the new Panigale V4 S and inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto. Ducati describes 630 numbered standard examples, with a separate run of 63 Speciale Clienti examples reserved for Lamborghini customers. The two numbers should not be treated as a single ordinary production total: Speciale Clienti is a distinct customer program.
The North American announcement lists a $78,400 US price for the standard version and $100,400 for Speciale Clienti. Ducati said North American deliveries would commence in December 2025. That is an announced delivery start, not confirmation that a particular dealer has an unsold motorcycle in stock in 2026. A buyer needs a dealer-confirmed allocation, build number, delivery timing and final invoice.
Ducati’s Claudio Domenicali described the project as an effort to offer enthusiasts “unique collector’s items of extraordinary beauty.” That statement explains the company’s intent and positioning; it is not an independent measurement of acceleration, lap time or ride quality.
2025 Suzuki Hayabusa
Suzuki positions the Hayabusa as its flagship sportbike. The 2025 model uses a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 1,340 cc inline-four with Ride-by-Wire and the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System. Suzuki’s US page emphasizes a broad electronics package and conventional series-production availability rather than a numbered collaboration edition.
Suzuki lists a 12-month limited warranty and directs purchasers to dealers for applicable details. Availability, colors, dealer charges and model-year inventory should be confirmed locally; a US web-page specification is not a guarantee that a motorcycle is available in every region.

Price, scarcity and what the list prices actually mean
| Motorcycle | Published US price | What the figure covers | Availability qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini | $78,400 | Ducati North American listed price for the standard numbered edition; local taxes, registration, dealer charges and other costs are not established here. | 630 numbered examples; Ducati announced North American deliveries beginning in December 2025. Confirm a current allocation and local inventory. |
| Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti | $100,400 | Ducati North American listed price for the customer edition. | 63 examples reserved for Lamborghini customers; eligibility and allocation must be confirmed with Ducati. |
| 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa | $19,399 MSRP + $600 destination | Suzuki Motor USA’s base MSRP and destination charge. Taxes, title, license, registration, dealer fees and optional equipment are excluded. | Series-production model; verify current model-year stock and the dealer’s complete out-the-door quote. |
At published US figures, the standard Ducati costs $59,001 more than the Hayabusa’s base MSRP before the Hayabusa’s destination charge and before either motorcycle’s taxes or dealer fees. That arithmetic is a price comparison, not a claim that the motorcycles deliver equivalent equipment or performance. The Speciale Clienti’s premium is a separate question because access is restricted to Lamborghini customers.

Engine and published output: why displacement does not settle the question
| Specification | Panigale V4 Lamborghini | 2025 Hayabusa |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration | 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 | 1,340 cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four with Ride-by-Wire |
| Published peak output | 209 hp at 12,750 rpm on Ducati’s US listing; Ducati’s global English release lists 218.5 hp at 13,500 rpm. | Peak horsepower and torque are not stated on the Suzuki US page used for this comparison. |
| Published torque | 122.1 Nm at 11,250 rpm on Ducati’s global English release. | Not stated on the reviewed Suzuki US page. |
Ducati’s two official power figures are market-specific listings with different rated engine speeds: 209 hp at 12,750 rpm for North America and 218.5 hp at 13,500 rpm in the global English release. They should not be merged into one universal number. The global release’s 122.1 Nm torque figure also belongs to that listing.
Suzuki’s US page identifies displacement and engine architecture but does not publish a peak horsepower or torque number in the material used here. It would therefore be inaccurate to declare either motorcycle the horsepower winner from these pages alone. Displacement by itself is not a reliable ranking tool: the Ducati’s smaller V4 and the Suzuki’s larger inline-four use different designs, tuning, gearing and measurement conventions.
Acceleration, top speed, roll-on performance, fuel economy and engine character require comparable tests conducted under the same conditions. No such independent, same-method figures are established here.
Chassis, suspension and braking hardware
What the Ducati includes
- Öhlins NPX-30 electronic fork and TTX 36 electronic shock.
- Ducati Electronic Suspension 3.0, identified with Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 control hardware.
- Carbon-fiber bodywork, forged wheels and a titanium Akrapovič silencer.
- Dry clutch and billet adjustable footrests.
- Track-oriented equipment including a racing tank cap, brake-caliper air conveyors, an open carbon clutch cover and a license-plate-holder removal kit.
Ducati notes that some supplied equipment is not road type-approved. A buyer must establish which parts can legally be installed or used on public roads in the relevant jurisdiction; removing a license-plate holder or fitting an open clutch cover can affect road legality, inspection and insurance.

The equipment lists show different priorities. Ducati spends heavily on electronic Öhlins hardware, lightweight materials and edition-specific track parts. Suzuki supplies adjustable suspension, high-specification front brakes and configurable rider aids in a standard model. Neither list tells you how either motorcycle will feel over a particular road or how fast it will lap a circuit.

Weight and fuel capacity: useful figures with important measurement limits
| Measure | Ducati | Suzuki | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Published mass | 185 kg / 408 lb running order, without fuel | 264 kg / 582 lb curb weight | The definitions differ, so this is not a controlled apples-to-apples weight test. |
| Fuel tank | Not stated in the cited Ducati specifications | 20 L / 5.3 US gal | Suzuki publishes the larger tank figure; actual range depends on riding and conditions. |
The Ducati’s 185 kg figure is identified as running order without fuel. Suzuki’s 264 kg figure is a curb weight. Because fuel status and measurement conventions differ, subtracting one number from the other and presenting the result as a precise real-world weight advantage would be misleading. The figures still describe the intended character: Ducati emphasizes mass-saving materials, while Suzuki publishes a much heavier, fully equipped road motorcycle.
Suzuki’s 20-liter tank is a concrete touring-oriented advantage in capacity, but tank size alone cannot establish range. Consumption, speed, traffic, temperature and payload all change how far a motorcycle travels between stops. Ducati’s cited specifications do not provide a comparable tank figure here.
Which is better for different kinds of riding?
Collector ownership and exclusivity
The Ducati is the clear fit for a buyer whose primary objective is a numbered collaboration motorcycle. The 630 standard examples, carbon construction, titanium exhaust component, Lamborghini design references and included North American apparel make it materially different from a regular production Panigale. The Speciale Clienti adds a restricted 63-bike allocation and customizable suit colors for eligible Lamborghini customers.
That conclusion is about scarcity and specification, not an investment forecast. Future resale value, appreciation, maintenance cost and collector demand are not established by the manufacturer’s announcement.
Road riding and touring
The Hayabusa’s 20-liter tank, cruise-control feature, adjustable KYB suspension and lower entry price make it the more practical starting point for a rider who wants a high-performance road motorcycle without paying collector-edition pricing. “More practical” here refers to the published equipment and purchase position; it is not a verified judgment about seat comfort, wind protection or long-distance fatigue.
The Ducati can be ridden on the road where it is legally configured, but its track-oriented accessories and some non-road-type-approved parts require closer attention to registration and equipment rules. A buyer who intends frequent touring should ask a dealer about service intervals, luggage solutions, heat management and local road compliance rather than assuming the Panigale’s equipment is optimized for that use.

Track days
The Ducati’s electronic Öhlins suspension, forged wheels, carbon bodywork, dry clutch and included track equipment are directly relevant to a track-focused owner. The racing tank cap, brake-caliper air conveyors, open carbon clutch cover and plate-holder removal kit are supplied for that environment, subject to the stated road-approval limitation.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe Hayabusa’s adjustable suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, ABS and launch-control system can also support performance riding, but the cited specifications do not prove a lap-time disadvantage or advantage. Track pace depends on tires, setup, rider skill, circuit layout, weather and preparation. Do not use the equipment list as a substitute for timed testing.
Electronic assistance and everyday control
Both motorcycles use modern electronic management, but the published feature emphasis differs. Ducati’s headline is semi-active Öhlins control through Ducati Electronic Suspension 3.0. Suzuki lists Launch Control and Smart Cruise Control within the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, along with Ride-by-Wire. If cruise control matters for highway use, Suzuki is the only one of the two for which that feature is explicitly listed in the cited model information.
Feature names do not reveal calibration quality or how intuitive the controls are. Ask for a demonstration and read the owner’s manual before relying on any mode, especially launch-control or ABS behavior.

Ducati says North American purchasers receive a limited-edition helmet, jacket and leather suit with the motorcycle. Speciale Clienti suit colors can be customized. These items are described as part of the North American bike purchase; the information does not establish that they are independently available through a separate retail or affiliate channel.
Because apparel inclusion is market-specific, a buyer outside North America should request a written list of included items. Do not assume that a European, Asian or other-market motorcycle carries the same package.

Buying and verification checklist
- Confirm the market and exact model. Ask whether the motorcycle is the standard Panigale V4 Lamborghini or Speciale Clienti, and confirm the specification sheet supplied for your country.
- Verify allocation and identity. For the Ducati, obtain the numbered build information, delivery estimate and written confirmation of any customer eligibility requirement.
- Request an out-the-door quote. Add destination, freight, setup, taxes, title, registration, dealer fees and any optional equipment. Suzuki’s $19,399 figure is MSRP, not a guaranteed final price.
- Check road legality. Ask which Ducati track components are type-approved for your jurisdiction and whether the motorcycle will be delivered with the standard road equipment installed.
- Confirm included equipment. For a North American Ducati, have the helmet, jacket and leather suit listed on the purchase documents. For either motorcycle, verify accessories and fitment before paying.
- Arrange appropriate insurance. A numbered special edition may need an insurer familiar with its declared value, while a standard Hayabusa may be rated under ordinary sportbike terms. Obtain a quote before signing.
- Inspect warranty and service terms. Suzuki lists a 12-month limited warranty; request the complete terms and exclusions. Ducati warranty coverage, servicing and roadside provisions should be confirmed with the selling dealer for the relevant market.
- Ride or inspect before committing where possible. A specification sheet cannot answer questions about riding position, heat, reach to the controls, suspension response or traffic manners.
Decision matrix
| Your priority | Better match from the published information | Why |

| Numbered rarity and Lamborghini collaboration | Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini | 630 numbered standard examples, plus a separate 63-bike Speciale Clienti allocation. |
| Electronic Öhlins suspension and carbon-focused construction | Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini | Öhlins NPX-30/TTX 36 Smart EC 3.0 hardware, carbon bodywork and forged wheels are listed. |
| Large published fuel tank | 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa | Suzuki lists 20 L / 5.3 US gal; a comparable Ducati tank figure is not stated in the cited specifications. |
| Explicitly listed cruise control | 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa | Smart Cruise Control is listed among the 2025 Suzuki Intelligent Ride System features. |
| Track-oriented accessories included | Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini | Racing tank cap, brake-caliper air conveyors, open carbon clutch cover and plate-holder removal kit are listed, with road-approval limits. |

Common mistakes when comparing these motorcycles
Treating the Ducati’s two power figures as contradictory test results
They are regional official listings with different rated speeds. Quote the North American 209 hp at 12,750 rpm and the global 218.5 hp at 13,500 rpm with their markets attached instead of selecting one as universally correct.
Subtracting the published weights without reading the definitions
Ducati’s number excludes fuel and Suzuki’s is a curb-weight figure. The different bases prevent a precise direct subtraction.
Assuming a high price guarantees faster lap times
The Ducati’s price reflects limited production, specialized components and the collaboration. Independent acceleration, top-speed and lap-time testing is required before making a performance ranking.
Recommended Free Tools
Assuming every accessory is legal on public roads
Ducati specifically notes that some equipment is not road type-approved. Check local rules before installing or using track parts.
Confusing an announced delivery date with available inventory
Ducati’s December 2025 North American start date does not prove that a dealer has a motorcycle available now. Obtain current allocation and stock information directly from an authorized dealer.
Bottom line for a buyer in 2026
The Panigale V4 Lamborghini is the choice for a buyer who deliberately wants scarcity, numbered provenance and premium track-oriented hardware and accepts a $78,400 US entry price—or $100,400 for the restricted Speciale Clienti. The 2025 Hayabusa is the rational choice for a rider who wants a 1,340 cc flagship sportbike, a 20-liter tank, adjustable suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes and named electronic aids at a fraction of the Ducati’s price.
If your question is simply “which is faster or better?”, the official specifications cannot answer it. They establish what each manufacturer builds and lists, not how the motorcycles compare under identical road or track conditions. Decide first whether you are buying a collector edition or a road-focused performance motorcycle, then verify local price, equipment, legality and availability before placing a deposit.
