Doroni Aerospace’s H1-X is a proposed two-seat electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft with ducted fans integrated into a tandem-wing design. Doroni’s current product page lists a 100-mile range, 95 mph cruise speed and 120 mph top speed, and estimates deliveries will start by 2028. Those figures are manufacturer-published specifications, not independently demonstrated flight results. The earlier “buy ’n’ fly” framing is premature: the reviewed current page does not establish the aircraft’s certification basis, pilot privileges or required training.
What is the Doroni H1-X?
The H1-X is Doroni Aerospace’s proposed personal eVTOL for two occupants. Doroni describes it as a tandem-wing aircraft using ducted fans for vertical takeoff and landing, with dual-axis propulsion, two horizontal ducted fans, a ballistic parachute and the company’s SOUL AI digital copilot ecosystem. These are company descriptions; the available product information does not establish that the aircraft has completed certification or entered customer service.
Vertical takeoff and landing means the aircraft is designed to rise and descend without a conventional runway. It does not, by itself, mean that the H1-X can be operated anywhere or that an owner can fly it without pilot qualifications. The current product page does not specify the regulatory category, pilot privileges or training requirements.
What are the H1-X’s current published specifications?
Doroni’s current product page lists the following figures. They should be read as manufacturer claims, not verified operating results.

The page does not specify the conditions behind the range, speed or charging figures, such as payload, reserve policy, weather, charger output or whether the stated range includes a safety margin. The 25-minute charge time is therefore not enough on its own to predict real-world turnaround time.
How have the claims changed since the 2024 announcement?
Doroni’s March 1, 2024 announcement described an earlier configuration and a different set of targets. Those figures are useful as a dated record of the company’s plans, not as current specifications or commitments.

The 2024 announcement also described coaxial wing ducted fans and rear pusher propellers, while the current product page describes two horizontal ducted fans and dual-axis propulsion. The older description should not be combined with the current one as if both describe a single confirmed configuration.
When could the H1-X be available?
Doroni currently estimates that deliveries will start by 2028 and advertises a preorder path. That is a company estimate, not a confirmed delivery date or evidence that customer aircraft are already available. The earlier announcement’s planned 2025 rollout and 2026 mass manufacturing were historical targets; the current estimate is later.

A preorder invitation is not the same as a delivery guarantee. The reviewed current product page does not list a price, and the available information does not establish specific purchase terms or a completed certification process.
How much is the Doroni H1-X?
Doroni’s March 1, 2024 announcement estimated a price of US$300,000–400,000. The reviewed current product page does not publish a current price, so the old estimate should not be treated as a present-day quote or final purchase cost.

- 1/72nd scale
- Highly detailed cockpit interior and landing gear
- Authentic markings available for two versions
- Optional part to build as -3 or -5 version included
- Paint and glue not included
Can you buy it and fly it yourself?
The reviewed current product page does not establish what certification category the H1-X will use, which pilot privileges would apply, or how much training an owner would need. Doroni’s 2024 article discussed a possible Light Sport Aircraft route and expected 20 hours of training, but presented that as an expectation rather than confirmed current guidance. It is not a reliable basis for planning an owner’s license or training.
Likewise, the product’s “buy ’n’ fly” positioning should not be read as proof that a purchaser will be able to fly it immediately after delivery. Prospective buyers would need current, authoritative information on the final aircraft’s certification, operating limitations and applicable pilot requirements.
