There is no confirmation in Mazda’s official materials that the EZ-60 lets occupants broadcast live speech—or profanity—through a front exterior speaker. What Mazda has confirmed about the EZ-60
Mazda unveiled the MAZDA EZ-60 at Auto Shanghai on April 23, 2025, describing it as a new-energy vehicle developed and manufactured in China by Changan Mazda in collaboration with Changan Automobile. Mazda’s launch announcement lists a 23-speaker sound system and says the headrest speakers allow the driver and front passenger to listen to different music. Mazda’s regional product page likewise describes the 23-speaker system and individualized headrest audio. Changan Mazda’s trim comparison shows 8-speaker and 23-speaker cabin configurations across the displayed trims, so even the listed in-cabin setup is not necessarily identical on every trim. Why the profanity claim remains unverified
Mazda says the EZ-60 supports voice, touch, and gesture controls, and describes voice-operated intelligent parking from outside the vehicle. Neither feature, on its own, demonstrates that a driver can speak through an exterior speaker. In the official launch materials, regional product information, press-conference speech, vehicle index, and China-market specifications cited here, Mazda does not confirm the claimed live voice-broadcast function. For now, the accurate distinction is straightforward: the cabin audio equipment is documented by Mazda; the claim that the EZ-60 lets someone shout profanity through a front exterior speaker is not independently verified by those official sources. A clear demonstration of a production vehicle or an explicit specification would be needed to confirm it.

Mazda said the EZ-60 would be offered as both a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV). Its April 2025 announcement gave approximate ranges of 600 km for the BEV and more than 1,000 km per refueling for the PHEV, labeled as provisional CLTC-mode figures—not universal real-world range estimates. Mazda also listed displayed-model dimensions of 4,850 mm × 1,935 mm × 1,620 mm, cautioning that the values were tentative and could differ from mass-production specifications.
