Buyer timing and demand
Some shoppers prefer the newest body, technology and powertrain; others prefer a proven model with known pricing and fewer first-year unknowns. A credible, dated successor announcement can cause some buyers to postpone purchases, while a long or uncertain wait can push others toward the current vehicle. The direction and size of any price movement depend on local demand and supply.
Production and allocation

Those figures are trim-specific estimates for a 2026 CR-V LX. They are not Hybrid values, not guarantees and not a before-and-after test of a delayed redesign. Condition, mileage, equipment, location and the valuation date can materially change an individual vehicle’s result.
