No: the Revuelto SV is not a manual, but its dual-clutch gearbox does not prove that manual supercars are gone for good. Lamborghini announced the SV on August 14, 2026, as a limited-series hybrid V12 with three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The evidence supports a narrower point: Lamborghini’s flagship performance approach here pairs electrification with automated shifting, not a conventional manual.
What transmission does the Revuelto SV use?
The Revuelto SV uses an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, according to Lamborghini’s August 14, 2026 announcement. A dual-clutch transmission selects gears through an automated system; the driver does not operate a conventional manual gearbox with a clutch pedal and hand-shifted gears. So the answer for this car is straightforward: the Revuelto SV is not a manual supercar.
The SV combines a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors. Lamborghini quotes a system output of 1,065 CV (783 kW), equivalent to 1,050 hp, and 1,425 Nm of system torque. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.
What are the Revuelto SV’s performance figures?
Lamborghini says the SV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and from 0–200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed above 345 km/h. These are the automaker’s published claims in its 2026 announcement; no independent comparative test results are established here.

The company describes the SV as its most powerful and fastest production model built at Sant’Agata Bolognese. That is Lamborghini’s own characterization, not an independently verified industry-wide ranking.
How does the SV compare with the standard Revuelto?
Lamborghini’s published figures show a modest output and acceleration increase for the SV over the standard Revuelto, while both use dual-clutch transmissions. The figures below come from the company’s standard Revuelto model page and its SV announcement.

The SV adds 50 CV and Lamborghini claims it reaches 100 km/h 0.1 second sooner. Its published top-speed threshold is lower than the standard car’s stated threshold, so the output and acceleration figures alone do not establish that it is faster in every measure. The production run is limited to 1,963 cars, a reference to Lamborghini’s founding year, according to the company.

No. The SV’s specifications establish what Lamborghini chose for this model, not what every supercar maker is doing or what future cars will offer. The standard Revuelto also uses a dual-clutch transmission, so the SV continues the same transmission approach within the Revuelto line rather than introducing a new break from a manual version.

Calling this the end of manual supercars “for good” goes beyond the available evidence. Establishing a market-wide end would require a defined category and a dated survey of manufacturers and models, and the published SV specifications do not provide that. The defensible conclusion is narrower: Lamborghini’s 1,050-hp-class limited-series hybrid V12 flagship is dual-clutch, not manual.
