About 30 Aston Martins were reportedly used in Mark Wahlberg’s 2021 film Infinite, and reports say some were damaged or destroyed during filming. That is not the same as 30 cars being written off: the published accounts do not give a verified count of vehicles destroyed.

How many Aston Martins were used in Infinite?

AutoJosh reported on July 3, 2021, that 30 Aston Martins were used in the production; AutoPlus, published the same day, described about 30 as appearing in the film. The accounts support an approximate number, not an audited inventory or confirmation that Aston Martin supplied every vehicle.

The distinction matters: “30 used” describes the reported scale of the production’s car use. It does not mean that all 30 were destroyed.

Were all 30 cars destroyed?

No published count in the cited reports establishes that. AutoJosh said not all the cars survived filming in one piece, while AutoPlus reported that several were destroyed. Neither report gives a verified number of cars written off, so the defensible conclusion is that some vehicles were lost or damaged—not that all 30 were destroyed.

AutoJosh’s report and AutoPlus’s report are secondary accounts. Neither provides a primary production inventory or a confirmed write-off total.

Which Aston Martin models were involved?

AutoPlus names a V8 Vantage from the early 1970s, a contemporary Vantage and the Lagonda Vision Concept among the cars featured. The concept is distinct from a production Aston Martin model.

AutoJosh also describes an armored Vantage in a prison-break sequence: the car, presented as a “luxury bunker,” smashes through a prison while an armored truck pursues it. The scene helps explain why the production used cars for demanding stunts, but it does not establish how many vehicles were damaged in that sequence.

What did the producer say about working with Aston Martin?

AutoJosh attributes this remark about the partnership to producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura: “If you had an infinite amount of money, it wouldn’t be bad to own an Aston Martin. In a way that’s how we got to the idea of going to work with them,” The quotation is reported by AutoJosh; its account does not independently establish the production’s vehicle count or losses.
