The company projected production of 15,000 motorcycles during 2026, but that figure is a forecast—not a reported final total. DBS identifies motorcycle-rental startup Vammo as its strategic partner for the motorcycles produced at the facility.
What DBS says has happened at the Manaus plant
In an article published July 17, 2026, DBS described its new Manaus facility as a 4,000 m² plant and said its first assembly test took place in August 2026. Because the stated test date comes after the article’s publication date, the chronology is unusual; both dates are presented as DBS reported them. The milestone is a company claim, not independent confirmation that the plant has reached full-scale production. DBS Indústria’s article
DBS characterized the assembly line and processes as ready, writing: “A estrutura está pronta, linha de montagem calibrada, time treinado e processo validado do início ao fim.” The statement appears in the company article without attribution to a named speaker.
What the production and staffing figures mean
DBS projected that the plant would produce 15,000 motorcycles in 2026 and reported 200 collaborators associated with the operation. The article does not give a final production tally, so the 15,000 figure should not be treated as confirmed output. Both figures come from DBS rather than independent reporting. How Vammo fits into the project
DBS describes Vammo as a startup specializing in motorcycle rental and as its strategic partner for the motorcycles produced at the Manaus plant. Its account does not specify ownership, contract terms, or whether the partnership makes particular motorcycles available to consumers. DBS Indústria’s article

Yema Motos Elétricas is not the company behind the DBS/Vammo plant. March 2026 reporting described Yema as already assembling and maintaining vehicles locally with imported motorcycles and components, while planning a factory in the Manaus Free Trade Zone. One report gave an assembly capacity of 40 to 50 motorcycles per day for Yema’s local operation; that capacity figure does not apply to DBS or Vammo.
