The available reporting does not establish who was legally at fault, whether anyone was hurt, or whether the contact caused damage.
What the dashcam report says happened
Guessing Headlights described footage posted to r/dashcams in which an SUV attempts to exit a gas station as traffic approaches a red light. A Chevrolet Corvette pulls alongside and stops in a position that blocks the SUV’s exit. The report says the SUV nudges or hits the Corvette; the Corvette driver gets out and approaches the SUV. When the light turns green, the SUV backs up and leaves, and the Corvette driver returns to the car. Guessing Headlights’ October 6, 2026 report is a secondary description of the clip, not an official incident account.
The clip was posted by u/Flashmemory256 under the title “Corvette Driver Doesn’t Let SUV Through, Gets Car Hit” in r/dashcams. Guessing Headlights reported that the post had over 3,000 upvotes and 1,400 comments at the time of its October 6, 2026 article; those are time-sensitive engagement counts, not independently verified totals.
Does the clip establish who had the right of way?
No. The available pages do not identify where or when the incident happened, so they do not establish which jurisdiction’s traffic rules would apply. Nor do they provide an official finding about the vehicles’ positions, the contact, or either driver’s conduct. A Reddit thread can show how viewers interpret a clip, but comments are not a ruling on right of way or fault.

Some commenters questioned why the Corvette should yield to the SUV; others argued that letting the SUV out would have been courteous even if it was not legally required. What is—and is not—known about the aftermath
The reviewed report and Reddit post do not establish the drivers’ identities, exact vehicle trims, whether the cars were damaged, or whether anyone was injured. It is also not established whether the SUV’s contact caused damage or how the drivers’ actions would be treated under local law. Without an incident location and an official account, it would be premature to label the SUV’s departure a hit-and-run or declare either driver legally responsible.

The disagreement turns on two questions that the available footage description does not settle: whether the SUV had already begun entering the road, and whether the Corvette’s position simply blocked the exit or reflected a claim to proceed first. Viewers also separate courtesy from legal obligation—whether a driver could have made room is not the same question as whether local law required it.
