The Cycleagle was presented in 2020 as an all-terrain electric skateboard, offered in 2WD and 4WD configurations. New Atlas reported rubber tires, independent suspension, a detachable battery and a claimed top speed of 27 mph (43 km/h). Those figures describe the product as reported at the time—not independently tested performance or a current offer.
Could the Cycleagle ride off-road?
It was designed and marketed for all-terrain riding. In its March 17, 2020 report, New Atlas described four independently suspended, rubber-tired wheels and 6.1 inches (155 mm) of ground clearance. These features suggest the intent to handle rougher surfaces than a conventional street skateboard, but the report does not establish how it performed on any particular terrain.
The most elaborate configuration had four 1,000-watt brushless motors, one driving each wheel. New Atlas also reported a 2WD version, but did not provide controlled comparisons of the two models’ capability, safety or reliability.
What features and performance did the 2020 report claim?
New Atlas described a wireless handheld remote for acceleration, four-wheel braking and reverse. As the report put it, “Riders accelerate and apply four-wheel braking via a wireless handheld remote.” That is a description of the control system, not a safety assessment.

The report listed a maximum speed of 27 mph (43 km/h) and a maximum range of 14 miles (22.5 km) per charge. Both are historical product claims, not independent test results; range is a reported maximum, not a guarantee. The battery was detachable, and the report said riders could swap in a fully charged spare.
Other reported design details included an aerospace-grade aluminum deck with a protective carbon-fiber layer, plus user-adjustable shock damping and steering sensitivity. New Atlas gave the board’s length as 46.4 inches (118 cm).

New Atlas reported these weights and prices in March 2020, when the board was the subject of an Indiegogo campaign. The retail figures were planned prices, not confirmation of later sales. Current availability, a live crowdfunding campaign, a current direct-sales page, an exact current successor, and a current Amazon listing have not been verified. A company/product record identifies CYCLEAGLE INTELLIGENT EQUIPMENT (WEIHAI) CO., LTD. and describes electric skateboards in the Endeavor family, but that does not establish that the specific board reported in 2020 remains available: company/product record.
