The report attributes violent language to the driver, but the available account does not independently establish who was involved, where the exchange happened, or what followed.
What Futurism reported
In its April 26, 2024 report, Victor Tangermann of Futurism described a circulating social-media video in which a Cybertruck driver pulled over and addressed a group of cyclists. Futurism said the confrontation followed purported teasing about a recent recall affecting Cybertrucks.
Futurism reproduced the driver saying, “I don’t want nothing more than rip off your heads and spit down your throats,” and, “You cyclists screw up all the streets, you are unbearable.” The report says one cyclist replied, “Is this the best thing you have to do today?” and apologized, but that the driver continued the exchange. These are lines attributed to participants by Futurism, not an independently authenticated transcript.
What is—and is not—established
The available report does not name the recall, identify the driver or cyclists, establish the location, or document a police response or legal outcome. It also does not independently verify the video or the reason the exchange began. The trigger should therefore be described as alleged teasing, as Futurism characterized it, rather than a confirmed account of what happened.

The headline’s words “berserk” and “mild teasing” are framing, not verified findings. What the report supports is narrower: it describes a driver reportedly confronting cyclists and quotes threatening remarks attributed to him.
Why the attribution matters
A video circulating on social media can show an exchange, but without independently verified participants, context, and location, it cannot by itself establish the full sequence or consequences. For this incident, the specific claims about the alleged trigger and the quoted words remain claims reported by Futurism.
