CyberLandr was presented in 2021 as a telescoping hard-sided camper that would stow in a Tesla Cybertruck’s bed beneath the tonneau cover, then expand into a compact cabin. Its proposed kitchen, wet bath, sleeping area and solar array made it more than a tent—but the available sources do not establish that CyberLandr is in production or currently for sale.
What was the CyberLandr?
In an April 6, 2021 report, New Atlas described CyberLandr as a camper designed to sit in the Cybertruck bed below the tonneau cover. When deployed, telescoping walls would raise the cabin and extend it over the tailgate. A folding stair and rear roller door were described as the entry.
The concept was notable for trying to put hard-sided living space inside a truck-bed footprint while stowed. The reported specifications and features below are historical design or company claims from 2021, not independently verified measurements of a production camper.
What the proposed cabin included
Kitchen, seating and sleeping
The front kitchen was described with an induction cooktop, compressor refrigerator and sink. A compact seating area had chairs that could swivel and join to form a double bed.

- Ventilation & Privacy Options – Dual rear panels can be tied back for fresh air or zipped closed for privacy. Integrated mesh windows allow for ventilation.
- Compact & Lightweight – Weighs only 5 lbs and packs down to 11" x 11" x 6" for easy storage. Includes convenient carry bag for transport and organization.
CyberLandr’s claimed sleeping capacity was two adults and two children, with children—or one adult—sleeping on the floor below the bed. New Atlas judged the occupied space very constrained and considered the layout better suited to two people. Neither the capacity nor that assessment should be mistaken for a verified production test.
Wet bath and water
The proposed rear wet bath combined a shower with a fold-away sink and dry toilet. New Atlas reported a fresh-water capacity of 151 liters and described a four-stage filtration and water-recirculation system.

Power and technology
The 2021 report listed a 500-watt expanding solar array, floor heating, voice controls, dimming windows, Wi-Fi, Starlink connectivity and a 32-inch 4K television. These were presented as features of the proposed design, not evidence of tested performance or current availability.
Reported weight, price and development concerns
New Atlas reported a dry weight of 1,200 lb (544 kg). That figure is a 2021 reported design specification, not a weigh-in of an independently tested production unit. The article also described historical reservation terms: a $5,000 deposit toward a stated $40,000 final price, and a future no-deposit tier with a stated $50,000 price. Those were promotional terms reported in 2021, not current offers.

The same report questioned how far the project had advanced beyond video renderings and raised concerns about the durability and alignment of the telescoping structure during off-road use. The 2021 SEC-filed offering memorandum provides historical company context, but does not establish present manufacturing, sales or support.
CyberLandr is not Tesla’s CyberTent
Tesla lists a separate Cybertruck accessory, the CyberTent. It is an inflatable geodesic-frame tent with an awning and mattress, not a telescoping hard-sided cabin with the kitchen and bathroom proposed for CyberLandr.

Tesla’s listing describes a manual pump and includes an air pump, stakes and repair kit. It says the tent uses a bed outlet for device charging and stows below the tonneau cover. The listing states compatibility with Cyberbeast and Premium All-Wheel Drive vehicles; L-Tracks are sold separately, Cybertruck MOLLE panels are excluded, and the tent cannot be deployed with the bed cargo divider installed. Tesla also says shipping to a service center and installation are included with purchase. Its displayed U.S. price was $2,750 when accessed October 8, 2026; price, availability and configuration can change.

Fit is only one part of the decision. Tesla’s Cybertruck vehicle page lists two 120 V bed outlets and one 240 V outlet, and states up to 9.6 kW of total outlet power for the configuration described on that page. The relevant capability and vehicle specifications can depend on configuration.

Best Value
- Superior Function: This aluminum alloy camper shell clamp has great compressive resistance and can effectively bear external loads. It can firmly fix the camper cover, disperse the collision energy generated during vehicle operation, and enhance the load stability and safety
- Reliable Quality: Forged from high-quality aluminum material, this truck bed clamp has excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand harsh weather conditions without rusting easily. In addition, it can resist the wear and tear caused by long-term use, making it less prone to breaking
- Nonslip Design: The anti-slip texture on the grooves of this camper shell clamp can increase friction and provide a stable and reliable grip. Meanwhile, this clamp comes with a small nut that can tightly engage during the tightening process, keeping the screw from slipping during tightening
- Effortless Installation: The installation of this truck topper clamp is very simple. The entire process does not require drilling or welding. First, place the clamp at the installation position on the truck bed. Then, pass the matching screw through the clamp and tighten it with a wrench
- Versatile Application: Measuring 3.08 × 2.94 × 1.10 inches with a maximum clamp opening of 1.57 inches, this product is compatible with most trucks and camping gear. It securely fastens shells, tents, or caps to the rear of truck beds, making it an ideal choice for outdoor adventure enthusiasts
- Availability: Treat CyberLandr as a historical concept unless its current manufacturing and sales status can be confirmed. Check Tesla’s live listing for the CyberTent before purchasing.
- Truck and bed fit: Verify compatibility with the exact Cybertruck version and its bed hardware. For the CyberTent, account for the stated L-Track requirement and bed-divider restriction.
- Payload: Check the truck’s applicable payload rating and account for the camper, passengers, water, luggage and other gear. Do not assume the reported CyberLandr dry weight applies to a current product or includes those added loads.
- Living space: Compare the actual deployed sleeping arrangement and usable room with the number of people traveling. A stated capacity does not establish comfort.
- Power and setup: Match the accessory’s power needs to the outlets available on the specific vehicle, and consider how it deploys, stows and affects access to the bed.
- Weather and rough-road use: Look for evidence about durability and operation in the conditions you expect. The 2021 report raised questions about the telescoping structure under off-road use but did not establish tested performance.
- Total cost: Confirm the current accessory price, required mounting hardware, installation terms and any other necessary equipment. CyberLandr’s quoted reservation prices are historical.
