The CUBE Trike Flatbed Hybrid 750 is an electric-assist cargo tricycle with an open rear platform. CUBE says its tilting design lets the front section lean into a turn while the rear load carrier stays level. That is the manufacturer’s design description; the available product information does not include an independent ride test.
How the tilting design is meant to work
CUBE describes a mechanism that decouples the rear load carrier from the front of the trike. In a turn, the front and rider section can tilt, while the platform carrying the cargo remains level, according to CUBE’s product description and New Atlas’s November 14, 2025 report. The sources describe the design intent, not independently measured cornering, stability, or load behavior.
In practical terms, the arrangement is intended to combine a leaning ride at the front with a flatter cargo surface at the rear. It does not mean that cargo is automatically secured: CUBE identifies securing rings, but the published information does not establish which straps or custom attachments fit them or what those accessories are rated to carry.

These are manufacturer-listed or reported specifications, not independent measurements. New Atlas reports 85 Nm of motor torque and pedal assistance up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph); verify those figures against the detailed specification for the relevant market and model year before relying on them.

Flatbed or enclosed cargo box?
CUBE’s Trike Cargo Hybrid 750 is a related configuration with a waterproof, lockable box rated for up to 50 kg. That is a different cargo arrangement from the Flatbed Hybrid’s open platform, which CUBE rates for up to 60 kg. The figures apply to their respective configurations and are not a like-for-like test.

For either model, confirm cargo restraint and attachment compatibility with CUBE or a dealer. An open deck offers flexibility in cargo shape, but users should not assume a particular strap or homemade attachment is approved or adequately rated.
