What is the ePack?
British startup Cityshuttle’s ePack pairs a rider’s pedal-electric front unit with an articulated cargo trailer. New Atlas described the arrangement as a six-wheeled delivery vehicle in its report published May 7, 2024. Its combination of an articulated layout, reported cargo capacity and narrow body is unusual, but the report does not provide a like-for-like comparison with other delivery vehicles.

What capacity and performance did the 2024 report give?
The following figures are those reported by New Atlas in 2024; they have not been independently validated here as current specifications.

New Atlas also described six 20-inch wheels, hydraulic disc brakes, double-wishbone suspension, a quick-swappable lithium battery, LED lighting with turn indicators, a trailer camera and alarm, lockable doors, a motor immobilizer and QLED advertising screens. These, too, are details from that 2024 account, not a verified current equipment list.

Is the ePack available to buy or lease?
New Atlas reported that Cityshuttle was leasing ePacks to businesses in London as of May 2024. It also said commercial clients had orders expected to be filled over the following six weeks. Those statements describe the situation reported at that time; they do not establish current operations, availability, delivery timing, lease terms or availability outside London. The report does not support treating the ePack as a consumer vehicle available for personal purchase.
The same report said a passenger-carrying version called GECO was expected to launch in London later in 2024. That was a forecast, and the available information does not confirm whether the launch took place or whether GECO is now offered.

What should a fleet buyer verify?
Because the available specification is dated and secondary, a business considering the vehicle should obtain current written details from Cityshuttle before making a decision. In particular, confirm:

- Current cargo volume, payload, dimensions, speed and range, including how range changes under load and on the intended route.
- Loading access, operating and maintenance requirements, and which safety and security features are included in the offered configuration.
- Lease duration, pricing, service coverage, delivery dates and the geographic area served.
For comparisons with another urban delivery vehicle, use equivalent figures and conditions for capacity, payload, dimensions, speed, loaded range, loading access and commercial availability. The 2024 report alone is not enough to establish that the ePack outperforms another model.
