For the 2026 model-year discussion, Chevrolet’s active sports-car family is the Corvette lineup: Stingray, E-Ray, Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X. Grand Sport and Grand Sport X were announced during March 2026 as 2027 model-year variants, while a 2026 Camaro has not been confirmed by the current official evidence.
Which Chevrolet sports cars are available in 2026?
The Corvette is Chevrolet’s sports-car range for 2026. The lineup progresses from the core Stingray to hybrid all-wheel-drive performance models and then to extreme-output Z cars. Chevrolet’s published figures use different pages and model-year contexts, so prices and performance claims should be read with their source context.

What each 2026 Corvette is for
Corvette Stingray: the core choice
Stingray is the entry point and the broadest-purpose Corvette. It is the logical choice if you want the Corvette experience without moving into the specialized hybrid or track-oriented versions. Its published power and acceleration are already supercar-level, while its positioning makes it the simplest starting point for road use.
Corvette E-Ray: hybrid traction and response
E-Ray adds a hybrid system and electric all-wheel drive. Choose it when strong launches, additional traction and instant electric response matter more than having the lightest or most traditional powertrain character. It occupies the middle ground between the regular Stingray and the more specialized Z models.
Corvette Z06: naturally aspirated track focus
Z06 is the choice for buyers who specifically want a naturally aspirated Corvette with a stronger circuit-driving emphasis. Chevrolet identifies it as track-focused. The published figures do not by themselves describe every brake, tire, aerodynamic or chassis option, so compare the exact equipment of the configuration you intend to order.
Corvette ZR1: maximum twin-turbo V8 performance
ZR1 moves to a twin-turbo V8 and extreme output. It is aimed at buyers who prioritize engine power and high-speed performance above the lower purchase price and simpler mission of Stingray or the naturally aspirated character of Z06.

Corvette ZR1X: the hybrid/eAWD flagship
ZR1X combines hybrid assistance and eAWD with the highest published output in the lineup. Its 2026 announcement gives separate destination-included launch MSRPs for the 1LZ coupe and convertible. This is the Corvette for buyers seeking the quickest published acceleration and the most technologically intensive powertrain, not the value choice.
Which Corvette should you buy?
Choose Stingray if you want the sensible starting point
Pick Stingray when purchase price, straightforward ownership and a balanced road-going role matter most. It is the model to start with if you do not have a specific requirement for hybrid traction or track specialization.

- Die-cast metal body with plastic parts
- Opening doors and engine cover
- Screwdriver included
- No glue or paint needed
- Bonus Custom Wheels Included
Choose E-Ray if traction is the priority
E-Ray suits drivers who regularly value all-weather traction and instant electric assistance. It costs substantially more than Stingray, but its hybrid eAWD layout gives it a distinct purpose rather than simply adding power.

Choose ZR1 for twin-turbo V8 intensity
ZR1 is aimed at buyers who want the highest-output non-hybrid powertrain in Chevrolet’s listed Corvette family. Its price and performance place it firmly in the extreme-performance category.
Choose ZR1X for the ultimate published acceleration
ZR1X is the top choice when hybrid eAWD, the quickest published 0–60 claim and maximum combined output outweigh cost and complexity. The coupe-versus-convertible price difference is explicit in Chevrolet’s 2026 launch announcement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are Grand Sport and Grand Sport X 2026 Corvettes?
No. Chevrolet announced Grand Sport and Grand Sport X during March 2026 as 2027 model-year variants. Grand Sport is described with a next-generation 6.7-liter LS6 V8 rated at 535 horsepower. Chevrolet’s current lineup page also lists Grand Sport X as a 2027 variant. Treat both as upcoming 2027 products rather than confirmed 2026-model-year cars.

The available Camaro evidence is a 2024 ZL1 fact sheet, which describes a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 rated at 650 horsepower. That document is historical context, not confirmation of a 2026 Camaro. Chevrolet’s current 2026 sports-car discussion should therefore center on Corvette unless a newer official Camaro model-year announcement appears.
Quick Recap
How to interpret 2026 Corvette pricing
- Check the model-year label: a 2026 lineup card, a current Corvette page and a newer model-year card may show different figures.
- Check destination treatment: the ZR1X launch announcement includes destination in its quoted MSRP; the other figures do not state that destination is included.
- Allow for additional charges: taxes, title, license, dealer fees and factory options are separate unless Chevrolet explicitly includes them.
- Compare like-for-like trims: the ZR1X launch prices are for specific 1LZ coupe and convertible configurations, not every possible equipment level.
How to shop for a Corvette
- Decide whether your priority is everyday use, hybrid eAWD traction, naturally aspirated track driving, twin-turbo power or maximum hybrid performance.
- Use Chevrolet’s dealer inventory and Build and Price tools to verify current model-year availability, configuration and destination charges.
- Ask the dealer for a written out-the-door estimate that separates MSRP, options, destination, taxes, registration and dealer fees.
- For Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X, verify the exact performance equipment and body style before comparing advertised prices.
