Chevrolet lists the 2027 Corvette Z06 at a U.S. starting price of $121,800 for the 1LZ coupe, with 2LZ starting at $130,700 and 3LZ at $135,350. It pairs a 670-hp naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 with track-focused hardware; Chevrolet advertises 0–60 mph in 2.6 seconds and a 10.6-second quarter mile at 131 mph. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent test results. The right configuration depends on whether you value cabin equipment, an open-top body style, or the added track hardware of the Z07 package.
How much does a 2027 Corvette Z06 cost?
Chevrolet’s U.S. product page lists these 2027 Z06 trim starting prices:

These are Chevrolet’s displayed starting prices for the 2027 model year, not guaranteed out-the-door prices. Confirm live pricing, inventory, and selected equipment with Chevrolet or a dealer. Chevrolet’s 2027 Z06 page provides Build & Price, inventory search, a dealer locator, and concierge contact. Build the exact car first, including body style and options, then request an itemized dealer quote. Separate the vehicle price from destination, taxes, title, dealer fees, optional equipment, incentives, and financing terms. The published pages do not establish transaction prices or typical dealer markups, so do not assume a discount or premium without a quote for your location.

What performance does the Corvette Z06 offer?
The Z06’s defining feature is Chevrolet’s 5.5-liter LT6 V8, mounted behind the passenger compartment. It is naturally aspirated and uses a flat-plane crankshaft; Chevrolet lists 670 horsepower, an 8,600-rpm redline, and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Chevrolet describes it as the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8. These specifications and the acceleration claims below are manufacturer-published, rather than independent test results. Chevrolet’s 2027 Z06 specifications and FAQ are the source.
- Power: 670 hp from the LT6 V8, according to Chevrolet.
- 0–60 mph: 2.6 seconds, an available Chevrolet-claimed figure.
- Quarter mile: 10.6 seconds at 131 mph, according to Chevrolet.
- Transmission: eight-speed dual-clutch.
The cited product information does not provide an independent test method or establish real-world performance under particular conditions. Treat the acceleration numbers as Chevrolet’s claims, not a guarantee of what every driver or configuration will achieve.
Which Z06 equipment matters for road and track use?
Chevrolet lists Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0 as standard, along with six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes. Four-wheel carbon-ceramic brakes are available. The Z07 Performance Package is aimed at track use and adds ultra-performance tires, a unique rear spoiler, and carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes.

Understand the Z07 package requirement
Z07 requires the Carbon Fiber Aero Package. That required package includes a carbon-fiber high wing, ground effects, and dive planes. When comparing prices, configure and price the required aero package together with Z07 rather than looking at the Z07 name alone. Chevrolet identifies Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 as summer-only tires; verify the selected tire and brake configuration and whether it suits your driving conditions before ordering. Chevrolet’s product page lists the equipment.
Should you choose a coupe or convertible?
Chevrolet offers the Z06 as a coupe or convertible. The convertible has a power-retractable hardtop that Chevrolet says can be raised or lowered at speeds up to 30 mph. Check Build & Price for the cost and equipment of the precise body style and trim you want; the stated starting prices above do not specify a body-style configuration.
How should you choose between 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ?
The trim names are best treated as equipment choices, not as a performance ranking. Start with the features you will use and compare the total configured price:
Rank #3
- Packaging: original factory window retail box.
- Has steerable wheels, rubber tires
- Made of Diecast with some plastic parts.
- Detailed interior, exterior, engine compartment.
- 1LZ: The entry point, with the listed 10-speaker Bose system, GT1 seats, head-up display, wireless charger, and removable roof panel.
- 2LZ: Consider it if the additional audio, heated and ventilated seats, Performance Data Recorder, heated steering wheel, and convenience features matter to you.
- 3LZ: The listed step up for custom leather-wrapped trim, suede upper trim, and GT2 seats with Napa leather.
For a track-oriented build, compare the full Z07 and required Carbon Fiber Aero Package configuration against your intended use, tire needs, and the cost of the options. For frequent road use, weigh the cabin equipment and selected tire setup alongside outright performance.

Chevrolet positions the Stingray as the Corvette lineup’s cornerstone, with an LT2 6.2-liter V8. It describes the Z06 as the track-focused variant, with a more powerful engine, specialized suspension tuning, enhanced aerodynamics, and upgraded components. Chevrolet also describes the ZR1 as a track-focused, street-legal model and the ZR1X as an electrified all-wheel-drive model. These are Chevrolet’s lineup descriptions, not independent comparative test findings. Use the Corvette comparison page to review the manufacturer’s lineup framing, then compare intended use, powertrain, equipment, and configured price.
