They are separate product lines for different jobs, not one set of interchangeable configurations. The RB6’s technology story also spans multiple announcements: Case IH described launch features in 2025, then announced Model Year 2027 updates in June 2026.
What did Case IH announce?
The August 2025 debut covered the Farmall A Series, Farmall C Series and returning Farmall M Series, alongside the RB456 and RB466 variable-chamber round balers. The tractors differ in model range, transmission and available comfort or precision features. For the baler, equipment and connectivity depend on configuration and model year.

Farmall details below are based on the August 21, 2025 report from Agriculture.com. RB6 launch features come from Case IH’s November 2025 announcement. Specifications and availability can vary by market, so confirm the local configuration with a Case IH dealer.
What are the new Farmall tractors?
The A and C are utility-tractor series, while the M brings back a familiar Farmall name in 110M and 120 Super M models. The announced series should be compared by the work and equipment required, not by the Farmall badge alone.

| Series | Models or power | Distinguishing details in the 2025 coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Farmall A | 90–120 hp across the series | Medium utility tractors; power-shuttle transmission options were described. The cited power range is a product specification, not an independent performance test. |
| Farmall C | 90C, 100C, 110C and 120C | PowerShuttle and Hi-Lo transmission configurations were described. The report also identifies factory-installed telematics on C-series tractors; confirm market and model availability. |
| Farmall M | 110M and 120 Super M | The returning M series; the report does not establish that its transmission, comfort or precision equipment matches the A or C. |
Cab equipment, lift capacity, maneuverability and precision options matter as much as horsepower when matching a tractor to a job. The available announcement coverage does not provide a complete, directly comparable specification sheet for those characteristics across all three series. Check the specific model’s regional specifications rather than assuming feature parity.
What is the RB6, and how do RB456 and RB466 differ?
The RB6 is Case IH’s variable-chamber round baler range. The launch materials identify the RB456 and RB466; Case IH’s product page describes current configurations and three feeding-system choices. The suitable setup depends on crop and operating requirements, and the page’s regional specifications should be checked for a particular machine.

Do not assume the two model numbers alone establish every bale dimension, crop capability or feeding configuration. The official RB6 product page is the place to compare available configurations for your market. The available sources do not provide independent throughput testing or a complete price comparison, so neither model can be ranked on those grounds here.
Which RB6 technology is standard, optional or model-year specific?
Case IH’s November 2025 announcement says ISOBUS is standard on the RB6 and describes tractor-baler automation when the baler is paired with Case IH tractors. Displays and connectivity features are not all standard across every machine: Case IH describes options for displays and connected FieldOps data. Telematics, automation and a particular display should therefore be confirmed against the exact baler and tractor configuration.

These 2025 launch descriptions should not be conflated with the subsequent Model Year 2027 update. In June 2026, Case IH announced updates aimed at durability, bale consistency and operation, with expanded FieldOps connectivity, bale tracking and mapping described for HD Pro material. The company forecast availability of the updated range from the third quarter of 2027; that announced timing is not proof that a dealer has inventory.
What did Case IH say about Nature’s Net Wrap?
In its June 2026 announcement, Case IH described Nature’s Net Wrap as plant-based and compostable under composting conditions, with wrapping performance and bale integrity intended to be retained. Those are manufacturer claims, and compostability is conditional on composting conditions; the announcement does not establish that the wrap will compost in ordinary field or landfill conditions.

What should buyers verify before choosing?
- For a Farmall: compare the exact A, C or M model’s horsepower, transmission, lift capacity, maneuverability, cab equipment and precision functions against the intended work.
- For an RB6: confirm RB456 or RB466, feeding-system choice, bale and crop requirements, display and automation compatibility, and whether the machine is standard RB6 or HD Pro.
- For either product: verify which equipment is factory-installed, optional or tied to a connected service in your region, then check local availability and obtain a dealer configuration and quote.
The 2025 Agriculture.com report also quoted Case IH Livestock Product Specialist Brian Williams describing an optional onboard scale and telematics: “All of our balers also now have a telematics option so you can see where the bales are dropped in the field, along with their weights and moistures, which is a great addition for people doing custom work,” he added. That statement describes an option, not standard equipment on every baler.
