Yes—but “modular” can mean different things. Peak Performance Campers says its Ultralight Stealth pop-up camper has a reconfigurable layout and a True-Transfer electrical system that lets owners relocate or stack power components. That does not mean every setup fits every truck: confirm the camper’s current configuration-specific weight, your truck’s payload, and fitment with the manufacturer before buying.
What makes the Ultralight Stealth modular?
Peak Performance Campers describes the Ultralight Stealth as a complete pop-up truck camper with a module-based interior. The company also says its True-Transfer electrical system has no fixed input or output endpoints, allowing owners to relocate or stack power components as their needs change. Those are manufacturer-described capabilities, not independently verified performance claims.
Peak says owners can reconfigure the camper “in under an hour using just a set of wrenches.” Treat that as the manufacturer’s estimate: the product page does not provide independent test evidence for the time required.
Which Ultralight Stealth versions and listed figures should you compare?
Peak lists compact and full-size Ultralight Stealth pop-up variants. Its model listings give the following starting figures; the page does not state a year for them or establish what equipment is included in each price or weight.

There is an important inconsistency on Peak’s page: its summary also says “starting at 475 lbs” and “500 LBS Starting Dry Weight.” Those figures conflict with each other and with the compact model listing. Do not use one of them as a universal camper weight. Ask Peak for the current written weight for the exact model and options you are considering, and clarify what the figure includes.
How to check whether a modular camper works with your truck
A modular layout does not establish vehicle compatibility. The product page does not provide a complete fitment chart or a loaded-weight specification for every configuration. Before purchase, confirm both physical fit and payload with the camper maker and your truck’s documentation.

- Identify your exact truck configuration. Have the manufacturer, model year, cab, bed length, drivetrain, and any relevant factory or aftermarket equipment ready.
- Check the truck’s rated payload. Use the rating for your specific vehicle, not a generic figure for its model line.
- Request the camper’s configuration-specific weight. Ask what the quoted dry weight includes and how selected modules, power components, and options change it.
- Confirm the loaded setup. Account for occupants, supplies, and other carried equipment when evaluating the truck’s available capacity. Have the manufacturer confirm the intended fitment before ordering.
How a camper differs from modular bed storage or a truck cap
These products may all support adaptable truck setups, but they solve different problems. Peak’s Ultralight Stealth is a complete pop-up camper. Viato sells an interior organization system, while SmartCap offers a modular truck-bed cap platform with gear-mounting accessories; neither is a self-contained camper.

For a storage-focused setup, Viato’s system may be relevant only if your truck bed and camper arrangement are compatible; its stated exclusion rules out use with slide-in campers. A SmartCap is an enclosure and mounting platform rather than living quarters. Consider either only if that narrower role matches your plan.

What to confirm before placing an order
- Current availability and price for the exact model and options.
- Written, configuration-specific weight and what the manufacturer includes in that figure.
- Compatibility with your truck’s exact cab, bed, and equipment configuration.
- Your truck’s available payload after accounting for the complete loaded setup.
- Which interior modules and power components can actually be repositioned, and what tools or work the change requires.
- For a separate bed organization system, any stated exclusions—especially Viato’s slide-in-camper limitation.
The cited specifications and capability descriptions are manufacturer-provided, not independent tests. Prices, availability, and product details can change; confirm them directly before committing.
