It is not a permanent RV conversion, and its optional Boxio toilet is a portable accessory—not a built-in bathroom. New Atlas described the system on February 16, 2024, based on information attributed to Campboks; its fitment, availability and pricing should be confirmed with the seller before purchase.
What the Campboks kit includes
The module combines sliding kitchen and storage sections with a folding bed and a separate dining setup. In camp mode, the bed can form an A-frame lounge; it then pulls flat for sleeping. The sliding benches and central table create a picnic-style area for two to four people, according to New Atlas’s February 2024 report.
Kitchen and water
The driver-side slide is the main cooking station. The reported equipment includes a flip-up sink and faucet, shower attachment, worktop, single-burner Primus stove, 15-L refrigerator and secured storage cubbies. Two 12-L fresh-water canisters sit in the center tunnel. The source does not describe a fixed indoor bathroom; the shower attachment and optional portable toilet are distinct features.
Storage and dining
A passenger-side slide carries three Euroboxes for cookware, food, dishes or other gear. A separate center slide opens into the van and adds three more boxes. The sliding benches and table can be arranged for a picnic-style meal inside or at the tailgate, as described in the product report.

Bed and seating limits
The folding bed serves as both a lounge arrangement and a sleeping surface. The report says the interior lounge seats do not meet road-travel regulations. Treat them as camp furniture, not as seats for passengers while the van is moving; use the vehicle’s approved travel seats and restraints on the road.
Which vans does Campboks fit?
Campboks was presented for European-market midsize vans, with the VW Transporter, Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Vito, and Renault Trafic named as examples. Those model names alone do not establish fitment for every generation, wheelbase, trim or interior configuration. Confirm the exact vehicle year and configuration with the seller before buying.

The system was reported to weigh 309 lb (140 kg), and one relevant slide was reported with a 440 lb (200 kg) load capacity. These are figures in New Atlas’s 2024 product report, not independent test results. Check the kit’s current specifications and your van’s payload limits, including passengers, luggage and other equipment, before loading it.
Is there a toilet or a full bathroom?
The reported option is a Boxio dry separating toilet or sink system that can replace one or more Eurobox storage crates. It is an optional portable unit, not an integrated full bathroom. The product report does not establish the current availability or price of that accessory.
