BYD separately says the U9 Xtreme completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:59.157 on August 22, 2025. That is a lap-time claim, not another top-speed measurement. BYD also says it was more than five seconds quicker than the previous class record and the first Electric Super Sports Cars entry below seven minutes; those comparisons are the company’s, as described in its Nürburgring announcement.
