During the day, Bürstner says, the wet room moves rearward to free space around the seating area; in the evening, it slides back so the beds can be fully deployed. The sliding bathroom belongs to the HM 6.0—not the wider HM 6.1, which has a fixed bathroom.
How the Habiton HM 6.0’s bathroom moves
Bürstner describes the HM 6.0’s bathroom as a patented sliding wet room. Its intended role is to shift the balance of space through the day: move the bathroom rearward for more room around the dinette, then move it back in the evening to deploy the two longitudinal single beds. Auto Zeitung’s 18 September 2026 report says the bathroom travels on rails by several centimetres, with the bed end and dinette seat adjusted as needed.
This is a packaging solution, not a measured promise of a particular amount of extra floor or bathroom space. Neither the manufacturer’s launch material nor Auto Zeitung provides independent user-test results or quantified usable bathroom-area measurements.
What the moving wet room includes—and its trade-offs
Auto Zeitung reports an integrated shower, a folding basin and a toilet that can be stowed under a bed to clear the shower area. The same report notes a tight passage near the kitchen and bathroom. In practice, buyers should consider how the shifting bathroom, movable bed end and dinette seat work for their routine, and whether the compact passage and stow-away equipment suit their needs.

Which Bürstner Habiton has the sliding bathroom?
The current Bürstner range lists the HM 6.0 and HM 6.1 as distinct layouts. Only the HM 6.0 is described with the sliding bathroom and rear longitudinal single beds. The HM 6.1 is wider and has a fixed bathroom, so the moving wet room is not a feature shared across both versions.

HM 6.0 dimensions, seating and sleeping capacity
For the HM 6.0, Auto Zeitung’s 18 September 2026 report gives exterior dimensions of 5,930 × 2,040 × 2,730 mm and a standing height of 1,900 mm. It reports four belted seats and a 110-litre fresh-water tank. These are reported specifications that may depend on configuration, rather than a guarantee for every build. The report describes the HM 6.0 with front-wheel drive and identifies the HMX as the all-wheel-drive variant.
Bürstner’s August 2025 launch release said an optional pop-top could raise sleeping capacity to four. That is a manufacturer-stated option, not evidence that every vehicle includes it; check availability and the exact configuration when ordering.

Optional toilet choices need build-specific confirmation
Bürstner Helpcenter’s Swedish-language 2026 overview names a portable Porta Potti, a Clesana X1 bag-sealing toilet and a Trelino separating toilet among relevant removable toilet types. It says the portable and bag-sealing options are available from 2026 on Habiton and Papillon as options, while Trelino is an option on selected models. This is range-level information, not confirmation that a particular HM 6.0 can be ordered with each toilet.
Ask Bürstner or a dealer which toilet is available for the specific Habiton build, whether it fits the intended storage space and what installation or storage requirements apply. Bürstner’s overview identifies Trelino as an optional category, not as standard equipment or a guaranteed-compatible aftermarket replacement.

Prices: distinguish the dated German-market figures
The prices reported for the Habiton differ by source and date. Bürstner’s 6 August 2025 launch release listed starting prices of €72,999 for the rear-wheel-drive version and €86,999 for all-wheel drive. Auto Zeitung reported €74,999 for the HM 6.0 and €88,999 for the HMX 6.0 as of September 2026. These are dated German-market figures, not universal current prices. At launch, Bürstner’s Director of Operations & Production, Felix Sturm, said the aim was to provide “four people genuine living comfort in under six metres” and claimed there was nothing like it in the industry. That is the manufacturer’s design positioning, not an independently verified market comparison.
