“Bumblebee-flavored” describes the styling, not a kind of motor. The specific match is the Tomofree BEE, a bee-inspired electric scooter advertised for a top speed of 31 mph. Its motor rating is unclear on Tomofree’s current product page: one feature tile says 1,000W peak, while the description and specification table say 1,500W peak. Treat the speed and power figures as manufacturer claims, not independently verified performance.
What “Bumblebee-flavored” means here
There is no established motor category called “Bumblebee-flavored.” In this context, the phrase points to the Tomofree BEE’s bee-inspired styling. Yellow-and-black looks do not determine a scooter’s motor power, speed, or suitability for road use.
Tomofree advertises the BEE at up to 31 mph, putting its claimed top speed just over the title’s 30-mph threshold. New Atlas reported the same maximum in January 2025 as part of Tomofree’s launch claims. Neither source provides an independent speed test.
Tomofree BEE specifications and the motor-rating conflict
Tomofree’s current product page gives several specifications, but its motor-power information conflicts within the page. The figures below are claims from New Atlas’s 2025 launch coverage and Tomofree’s page, accessed in 2026; they are not independent measurements.

The motor discrepancy matters if you are comparing scooters or shopping for a replacement. Ask Tomofree to confirm the rating for the exact BEE variant before relying on either number. A peak rating is also not interchangeable with a continuous rating; the cited product information does not establish a continuous motor rating.
What the 31-mph claim does—and does not—tell you
A listed maximum speed is not proof that a scooter will reach that speed in ordinary riding. The sources cited here do not establish independent tests of the BEE’s speed, range, braking distance, or ability to climb hills. Range figures are especially condition-dependent, and Tomofree’s current 28–40-mile claim differs from New Atlas’s 2025 report of up to 28 miles. Do not treat either figure as a guaranteed distance for your route.

For a meaningful comparison with another scooter, look beyond color and peak wattage. Check whether the maker publishes separate continuous and peak power ratings, the battery’s voltage and capacity, the advertised speed, brake and tire setup, suspension, weight and load limit, parts support, current stock, and whether the vehicle fits your local rules. Without comparable independent tests, advertised performance figures remain claims rather than verified head-to-head results.
Availability and BEE-specific replacement parts
At the time the cited Tomofree pages were accessed in 2026, the BEE scooter was marked sold out. Tomofree also listed its BEE motor replacement as sold out. Stock can change, so check the live product pages before making plans to buy.

The replacement is described by Tomofree as a rear wheel with motor that fits only the Tomofree BEE. Confirm the exact scooter model and part compatibility with the seller before ordering; do not assume it fits another scooter just because its motor or styling looks similar. Tomofree’s accessories catalog also lists BEE tires and tubes, brake pads, a charger, display, controller, throttle, battery, and motor. Verify availability and variant fitment for any part.
For assembly and operation information, Tomofree’s downloads page lists a BEE manual. Use the manual for the applicable model and follow its instructions rather than assuming procedures are identical across scooter variants.

Check local rules before riding
There is no universal legal answer for a scooter advertised above 30 mph. Vehicle classification, where it may be ridden, and equipment requirements depend on your location. Check the rules from the relevant local authority before riding or buying, and verify how that authority classifies this scooter rather than relying on its product name or appearance.
