Hommage, a one-off W16-powered tribute to the Veyron. The car later made its physical world premiere at Rétromobile 2026 in Paris, according to Bugatti’s January 30 announcement. It is the second creation from the marque’s Programme Solitaire, not a new production Veyron.
What Bugatti revealed on January 22
The F.K.P. Hommage is a bespoke car commissioned through Bugatti’s coachbuilding Programme Solitaire. Bugatti says the program creates two unique masterpieces per year; its first car, Brouillard, was unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2025. The Hommage honors the Veyron’s 20th anniversary and the vision of Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch. Its initials, F.K.P., refer to Piëch.
Bugatti digitally unveiled the car on January 22, 2026. The brand’s January 30 report said it would later receive its physical world premiere at Rétromobile 2026 in Paris. The announcement describes a one-off commission rather than a new production model.
How the Hommage connects to the Veyron
The design revisits the Veyron’s defining proportions without simply reproducing the original car. Bugatti describes the Hommage’s leaning-back stance and descending beltline as Veyron references, paired with revised surfaces and larger air intakes. At the front, a three-dimensional horseshoe grille is machined from solid aluminum.

The layered Rouge Jubilé finish draws inspiration from the Veyron’s Absolute Red, while black-tinted exposed carbon fiber adds contrast. Inside, a circular steering wheel and solid-aluminum center console and tunnel cover recall the Veyron’s character. Bespoke Havana-colored “Ettore Grand” fabric gives the cabin its own identity.
A customer-specific watch installation
The dashboard integrates a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon at the customer’s request. Bugatti presents it as a bespoke detail of this car; the announcement does not establish it as standard equipment or a general option for other Hommage commissions.

W16 power, with two reported figures
Bugatti says the Hommage uses the latest evolution of its W16 platform and a quad-turbocharged engine producing 1,600 hp. Autocar separately describes the powertrain as the 1,578 bhp W16 unit associated with the Chiron Super Sport, with upgraded cooling, intercoolers and gearbox. Those are differently expressed figures from separate sources, so they should not be treated as a single directly interchangeable specification.
The broader W16 timeline needs context. Bugatti’s announcement for the W16 Mistral described its 1,600 PS W16 as the engine’s final use in a road-going production car at that stage. In a 2025 year-end report, Bugatti later said production had begun on its final W16-powered models. The F.K.P. Hommage is a reported one-off Programme Solitaire car, not evidence that Bugatti has resumed a regular W16 production line.

Bugatti’s announcement and Autocar’s account do not provide comparable acceleration or top-speed figures for the Hommage. There is therefore no sourced basis here for ranking its performance against the Veyron, Chiron or other hypercars.
Price, customer and availability
Bugatti has not disclosed a public price or identified the customer in its announcement. The car is described as a customer commission, but the source does not provide a delivery timeline or say that another example is available to order.

At the event, Bugatti also presented four certified Veyrons through official partners under La Maison Pur Sang, a service associated with authenticity, restoration and reconfiguration. That is an ownership route for existing Veyrons, not an indication that the F.K.P. Hommage is for sale. A bespoke Bugatti Baby T52 variant was also shown; the announcement does not establish its price or general availability.
