What is the Bufori CS8?
Bufori describes the CS8 as an ultra-high-performance grand tourer designed, engineered and handcrafted in Malaysia. Rather than a mass-market model with a fixed specification, it is presented as a bespoke car built to a customer’s choices of paint, upholstery and trim.
The CS8’s structure is a Carbon-Kevlar monocoque. Bufori lists adaptive multi-link suspension at both ends and a kerb weight starting at 1,550 kg, depending on specification. That weight is a manufacturer figure, not a measured result for every configuration.

Malaysian launch reports from CarPlus and CarSifu described five engine choices: a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre V6, supercharged 3.6-litre V6, twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six, naturally aspirated 6.4-litre V8 and supercharged 6.4-litre V8. That range reflects launch coverage; it should not be taken as confirmation that every engine is currently offered in every market. Published output units differ between outlets, so check the cited launch report for the specific configuration rather than treating the figures as directly interchangeable.
How fast is the Bufori CS8?
Bufori claims a 0–100 km/h time of 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h for the specification shown on its product page. These are manufacturer-stated figures; no independent performance test was identified in the available coverage.
For the supercharged V8, CarSifu reported 19-inch forged alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, in 275/35 front and 315/30 rear sizes. Its launch coverage listed different rear fitments for other engine choices, including 295/30 for the inline-six. Tyre sizes are configuration-specific: confirm the actual car’s wheel and tyre specification before ordering replacements.

Bufori lists Brembo six-piston monobloc brake calipers and Michelin high-performance tyres. Its cabin description includes electrically adjustable Recaro bucket seats, leather upholstery and exposed structural carbon-fibre panels. Because the CS8 is made to order, the finish and trim can be tailored to the owner’s specification.
The manufacturer’s listed driver-assistance and parking features include:
- Lane assist and adaptive cruise control
- Forward-collision warning with active braking
- Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection
- Front and rear park assist
How much does the Bufori CS8 cost?
CarSifu reported a Malaysian launch price of RM2,188,888 on the road without insurance on August 28, 2025. CarPlus reported a starting price of RM2.188 million and said it was the same regardless of engine choice. These are dated launch reports, not verified current prices or global quotes.
Bufori says the CS8 is made to order. Its announcement of a public display at the Penang Autoshow from May 1 to May 3, 2026 does not establish present inventory, order availability or delivery timing. A buyer should request a current, market-specific quotation and confirm the build specification and expected delivery directly with Bufori.
What the CS8’s grand-touring brief means
Bufori presents the CS8 as a car for long-distance travel as well as high performance. General Manager Felix Haller described it as designed for drivers who want to cross continents “in style and speed,” while founder and managing director Gerry Khouri called it “predictable, forgiving, and durable.” Those are manufacturer statements, not independent assessments. The available material establishes the car’s stated design intent and equipment, but not how it performs on a road test.
