The Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage is a one-off Veyron tribute created through the marque’s Programme Solitaire. It pairs recognisable Veyron proportions with the later W16’s 1,600 hp specification, revised cooling and transmission hardware, and extensive customer-requested personalization. “F.K.P.” honors Ferdinand Karl Piëch, whom Bugatti credits with the vision behind the original Veyron project. What is the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage?
It is a bespoke, one-off car built to celebrate 20 years of the Veyron, rather than a new production Veyron or a direct reproduction of the original. Bugatti introduced it as the second creation of Programme Solitaire, its personalization initiative for reimagined bodywork, interior details and extensive individual specification. The first Programme Solitaire creation was Brouillard. Bugatti says the programme can produce up to two bespoke masterpieces per year; that is a stated annual capacity, not a confirmed schedule or total production commitment.
The initials F.K.P. refer to Ferdinand Karl Piëch. Bugatti associates the engineer with conceiving the Veyron project and frames the Hommage as a tribute to his insistence on advanced technology. At its January 22, 2026 digital reveal, the marque described the original Veyron as producing 1,001 hp and exceeding 400 km/h. Those are Bugatti’s anniversary-release figures, not independent test results cited here.
How does it compare with the original Veyron?
The Hommage keeps the Veyron’s visual character but uses a later development of the W16 platform. It is therefore best understood as a modernized tribute, not the original Veyron with its old specification carried over.

What changed under the bodywork?
Bugatti describes the engine as the highest evolution of its W16 platform. The manufacturer lists 1,600 hp, quad turbocharging, larger turbochargers and enhanced intercoolers, alongside upgraded cooling and a reinforced gearbox. These are manufacturer specifications; no independently published test result for the Hommage is established in the cited coverage.
Bugatti Design Director Frank Heyl said the car combines the reinforced double-clutch gearbox, latest tire compounds and optimized thermal and aerodynamic development with the Veyron’s form. The point is not simply a larger output figure: the tribute incorporates two decades of W16 development while retaining the design reference that gives it meaning.

Which Veyron details define its exterior?
Bugatti says the Hommage preserves the original car’s leaning-back stance and dropping belt line, while refining the body surfaces and enlarging the air intakes. A three-dimensional horseshoe grille machined from solid aluminum gives the front end a more sculptural treatment.
The January 30, 2026 release identifies the finish as Rouge Jubilé, an evolution of the original Veyron’s “Absolute Red.” The layered paint places a red-tinted clear coat over a silver, aluminum-based layer, creating the deep effect Bugatti describes. Black-tinted exposed carbon fiber supplies contrast.

What makes the interior personalized?
Bugatti lists a circular, Bauhaus-influenced steering wheel, a bespoke center console and tunnel cover machined from solid aluminum blocks, and custom-woven fabric. The standout feature is a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon installed at the customer’s request. It is a bespoke element of this car, not standard equipment or a generally offered Hommage accessory.
Bugatti says a gondola rotates the watch on a diagonal axis several times per hour. The mechanism is powered by the car and works without an electrical connection. T3’s January 25, 2026 report also described the integration as customer-requested.

When and where was it revealed?
Bugatti digitally revealed the F.K.P. Hommage on January 22, 2026. Its physical world premiere followed on January 30 at Rétromobile’s Ultimate Supercar Garage in Paris. Bugatti displayed an original Veyron 16.4 alongside it and presented four Bugatti-certified Veyron models: the 16.4, Grand Sport, Super Sport and Vitesse. The marque says its La Maison Pur Sang service safeguards authenticity and offers restoration and reconfiguration options for Bugattis; that context concerns its heritage and collector services, not availability of the Hommage.
Can you buy or order the F.K.P. Hommage?
Bugatti describes this car as a one-off bespoke vehicle, but its January 2026 releases do not state a price or announce public ordering availability. Programme Solitaire’s stated capacity of up to two creations annually does not mean that this Hommage is for sale or that further examples can be commissioned under the same specification.

Why the Hommage matters
The car brings the Veyron’s recognizable silhouette together with Bugatti’s later W16 development and a level of personalization tailored to one customer. Its strongest connection to the original is both technical and symbolic: the name honors Piëch, while the design recalls the car that helped define the modern Bugatti era.
