Was the cause of the explosion confirmed?
No confirmed cause is established in the contemporaneous reports. A gas bottle was discussed as a possible trigger, not a proven cause. ABC said the Department of Fire and Emergency Services was investigating; The West Australian and 7NEWS reported a WorkSafe investigation.
