BMW Motorrad Days will not be held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2027. The municipality says BMW plans to reorient the event concept toward regional events in international markets. No replacement venue or complete 2027 schedule has been confirmed in the sources available as of October 5, 2026.
Are BMW Motorrad Days cancelled in 2027?
The Garmisch-Partenkirchen edition is off for 2027; that does not mean BMW has announced the end of BMW Motorrad Days everywhere. In a statement reported by Motorrad Online, the municipality said BMW Motorrad had informed it that the event would not take place there and that the concept would be realigned, with more emphasis on regional events in international markets. Visordown also reported the change.
BMW’s stated direction is toward a more international, regional format. The available announcements do not provide a confirmed city, venue, dates, ticketing details, or program for any 2027 event.
Will there be a replacement event in Garmisch?
Garmisch-Partenkirchen and GaPa Tourismus were considering a central gathering for the first weekend of July, but the report describes planning as being at an early stage. It is a local possibility, not a confirmed BMW replacement event or an announced program. Visordown’s report covers the preliminary idea.

What about the local club’s 2027 dates?
BMW Club Garmisch-Partenkirchen & Oberland lists its separate Club & Community Days and BikeWeek for June 25 through July 1, 2027. Those are the club’s listed activities, not evidence that BMW Motorrad Days will return to Garmisch. The club’s event listing should be checked for updates to its own plans.
