Bentley warns on its US product pages that specifications and availability can change. Treat every figure below as trim- and test-cycle-specific rather than a universal GTC specification.
How the Continental GTC hybrid system works
High Performance Hybrid
The High Performance Hybrid pairs a turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 with an electric motor. Bentley gives the combined system output as 680 PS, equivalent to 671 bhp, and 930 Nm, or 686 lb-ft. A 25.9 kWh battery supplies the electric side of the system.
Bentley introduced this powertrain for the Continental GT and GTC as a way to combine quiet, zero-tailpipe-emission local driving with the long-distance ability expected of a grand tourer. The battery, motor and V8 work as one system; the published output is the combined rating, not the output of the petrol engine alone.

The range-topping Speed and the most powerful Mulliner configurations use Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid. Bentley’s current model description quotes 782 PS (771 bhp) and 1,000 Nm for this system. Those figures do not apply to every Continental GTC, including the High Performance Hybrid versions.
Exact hardware, software calibration and equipment can depend on the destination market and the order specification. Confirm the drivetrain shown on the dated build sheet before comparing a Speed or Mulliner with another GTC.

How fast is the Bentley Continental GTC?
There is no single answer because Bentley publishes different figures for different versions.

The 3.8-second and 168-mph figures describe the general High Performance Hybrid data on Bentley’s US technical material. The 3.3-second, 3.5-second and 190-mph results belong specifically to the 2026 GTC S announcement. They should not be merged into one generic “GTC” claim.

What the GTC S changes
Bentley’s 29 January 2026 announcement combines the High Performance Hybrid with the Speed’s Performance Active Chassis. The S specification also includes a sports exhaust and sport-oriented exterior and interior details. That combination explains why the S announcement is quicker than the general High Performance Hybrid listing even though both are rated at 680 PS and 930 Nm.
How far can the Bentley GTC go on electric power?
Bentley gives the High Performance Hybrid GTC an official electric-only range of 51 miles (82 km) under the WLTP test cycle. The figure was stated in Bentley’s April 2025 announcement and is a laboratory result, not a guarantee of the distance every driver will achieve.
Why real-world range will differ
Actual electric distance depends on temperature, speed, roof position, traffic, terrain, wheel and tyre specification, climate-control use, payload and how much charge is available at departure. Bentley’s published material does not establish an independent real-world range test for the GTC.

Charging information
The supplied official information does not establish a universal charging time, charging connector specification or a standard charging schedule for every market. Ask the retailer for the charging equipment, onboard-charger rating and local electrical requirements for the exact vehicle you are ordering. Do not infer charging time from the 25.9 kWh battery capacity alone.
What is the difference between the GTC Azure, S and Speed?
GTC: the baseline grand tourer
The standard GTC is Bentley’s balanced interpretation of the convertible. It is the logical starting point for a buyer who wants open-air touring without making comfort, sporting response or personalisation the defining priority. Published equipment can be standard or optional depending on market and order date.
GTC Azure: comfort and wellbeing
Azure is the comfort-focused model. Bentley’s official Azure description highlights an enhanced air-conditioning system that filters PM2.5 particles, along with chassis calibration aimed at comfort and refinement. Choose it when relaxed long-distance travel, cabin ambience and wellbeing features matter more than the sharpest steering or most aggressive styling.
GTC S: sporting response
The S adds a more overtly athletic character. Bentley’s 2026 announcement gives it 680 PS and 930 Nm, 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds, 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a 190-mph (306-km/h) maximum speed. Its Performance Active Chassis, sports exhaust and sport-oriented trim details are the key distinctions from a comfort-led GTC.
GTC Speed: maximum performance
Speed is positioned among the most powerful GTC models and uses the 782 PS, 1,000 Nm Ultra Performance Hybrid according to Bentley’s current range page. Bentley presents it for customers who want the strongest acceleration and the most performance-focused calibration available in the regular GTC range. Confirm the exact specification for your country because the range page does not establish identical equipment or availability worldwide.

GTC Mulliner: bespoke luxury
Mulliner is Bentley’s pinnacle and bespoke option. Personal commissioning lets the buyer specify a more individual combination of materials, colours and finishes through Bentley’s stated process. Mulliner can overlap with the highest-performance hardware, but “Mulliner” describes the level of craftsmanship and personalisation rather than one universal engine specification.
Chassis, cabin and equipment: what can change
The GTC range uses trim-specific chassis calibration and equipment. Azure prioritises ride comfort and refinement, while S introduces the Performance Active Chassis and sports exhaust in the announced specification. Speed concentrates on outright performance, and Mulliner expands commissioning choices.
Bentley’s customer brochure contains additional standard and optional equipment, but equipment can change with market and order date. A feature shown in a brochure should therefore be checked against the current build configuration, not assumed to be standard on every car carrying the same trim name.

There is no objectively best trim. The right choice depends on whether you value comfort, sporting response, maximum output or bespoke design. Compare like with like: a High Performance Hybrid GTC and an Ultra Performance Hybrid Speed are not equivalent specifications even though both are called Continental GTC.
How much is the new Bentley Continental GTC?
Bentley’s current pages direct shoppers to configure the car, enquire to buy and arrange a test drive rather than publishing one universal current MSRP. The available evidence does not establish a single price that applies across countries, trims, taxes or option lists.
