Bentley announced the car on 14 November 2025, describing it as the most driver-focused Continental GT yet. Its 666 PS, 800 Nm and production run of 500 numbered examples mark a distinct break from the current hybrid Continental GT formula.
What makes the Supersports different?
The Supersports trades the current Continental GT’s hybrid, all-wheel-drive approach for a combustion-only V8 and rear-wheel drive. It also has two seats rather than the standard car’s broader grand-touring layout. Bentley says the changes reflect a focus on driver engagement and lower weight, with the car weighing under 2,000 kg; that is a threshold, not an exact kerb-weight figure.
Bentley describes the Supersports as “the most driver-focused Continental GT ever.” That is the marque’s positioning, rather than an independently established performance ranking. Bentley’s 14 November 2025 press information and its newsroom announcement set out the launch details.
Engine, power and performance figures
Non-hybrid twin-turbo V8
The engine is an enhanced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with no hybrid assistance. Bentley’s 2025 announcement quotes 666 PS and 800 Nm; the current official Supersports model page lists output as 657 bhp. These are Bentley-published figures in different units, not independent measurements.

Acceleration
Bentley’s model page gives a 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds. This is the manufacturer’s stated figure; independent test results are not established by the available official material.
Chassis, body and driving modes
The Supersports is rear-wheel drive only. Bentley lists three driving modes—Bentley, Touring and Sport—and says Sport unlocks performance features including launch control.

Carbon-fibre elements and a dedicated braking system are part of the car’s specification. Bentley says its bodykit can provide up to 300 kg of additional downforce compared with the current-generation Continental GT Speed. That is a manufacturer-stated comparison, not a measured independent test result. The same model page provides the driving-mode and engineering details.
Production and announced timing
Bentley says production is limited to 500 individually numbered cars. Its announcement said orders would open in March 2026, production would start in Q4 2026, and first deliveries were projected for the start of 2027. These are announced plans; the official material does not establish current order status or dealer allocations in a particular market.

How it compares with the current Continental GT
The distinction is chiefly the car’s basic recipe, not simply a change in power output. Bentley describes the current Continental GT as a hybrid V8 model, while the Supersports removes hybrid assistance and drives only its rear wheels. The Supersports also has two seats and a stated weight below two tonnes. Bentley’s current Continental GT model page describes the hybrid model range; the Supersports page supplies the specifications above.
The official information does not establish a like-for-like independent test, price comparison or market-specific availability. A performance ranking between the two would therefore go beyond the published evidence.

Bentley’s consulted announcements do not state a price, taxes, current allocation by market or confirmed local order status. Buyers will need to check with Bentley or a local retailer for market-specific pricing and availability; the projected delivery timing is not a dealer-level schedule.
