The BENDA P51 is a hybrid motorcycle concept, not a confirmed retail model. Introduced at EICMA 2025, it pairs a 250cc horizontally opposed twin with an electric motor. BENDA announced 62 hp, 100 Nm and a 0–100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds, but these are concept claims—not independently verified results or confirmed production specifications.
What the BENDA P51 is
BENDA presented the P51 as a Hybrid Concept at EICMA 2025. The announced layout combines a 250cc horizontally opposed twin with an electric motor in a P1+P3 hybrid configuration. That unusual pairing is the basis for the P51’s “hybrid boxer” description. BENDA’s EICMA announcement introduced the concept and its headline figures.
How BENDA describes the powertrain
In a later feature, BENDA described the combustion engine as liquid-cooled and DOHC, with the electric motor positioned beneath it. The company says power is delivered through an integrated single-gear hybrid drive. These are BENDA’s descriptions of the concept; final production construction and specifications have not been confirmed. BENDA’s P51 feature also explicitly says the motorcycle remains a concept.

The figures below are manufacturer-announced concept claims, not independent measurements or guaranteed specifications for a future production motorcycle.

All five figures come from BENDA’s 2025 announcement. Without independent testing or a production specification, they should be read as targets or claims for the concept rather than a promise of showroom performance.
Is the Benda P51 for sale?
No confirmed retail date, price or sales market is established in the available official updates. BENDA called the P51 a concept in December 2025. In January 2026, the company said validation and production-readiness work was continuing; that update does not confirm a production start or availability to buy. The latest located status statement is BENDA’s January 2026 technology update. As of October 4, 2026, whether the P51 subsequently reached production or sale remains unresolved by these sources.

What a buyer would need to know if it reaches production
The concept figures alone are not enough to assess a motorcycle for purchase. A production announcement would need to establish the final specifications and where the bike can legally be sold. Useful details to check would include:
- Final price and confirmed sales markets
- Homologation and road-legal status in the relevant country
- Production system output, weight and measured road performance
- Battery capacity, charging arrangements and hybrid operating details
- Warranty, dealer coverage and service support
No P51-specific retail motorcycle, compatible accessory, replacement part or manual is substantiated by the sources cited here, so the concept should not be treated as a model with established fitment or service products.
