No official Bajaj announcement in the available information confirms a new Pulsar RS200 with USD forks or a TFT display. What Bajaj has officially confirmed
Bajaj announced the RS200 update on 9 January 2025. The company described a Bluetooth-enabled bonded-glass LCD console with turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, and gear indication—not a TFT display. The update also included dual-channel ABS, Road, Rain and Offroad ride modes, LED projector headlamps, daytime running LEDs, an integrated rear taillamp, and wider tyres. Bajaj’s 2025 announcement reported a 199.5 cc engine producing 24.5 PS at 9,750 rpm and 18.74 Nm at 8,000 rpm.
The release listed a Delhi ex-showroom launch price of ₹1,84,115. That is the price stated at the 2025 launch, not a current quotation.
Do the published specifications show USD forks?
No. Bajaj’s current RS200 specification page lists a 37 mm telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. It does not list USD forks. The page also specifies a 199.5 cc engine, 18 kW (24.5 PS), 18.7 Nm at 8,000 rpm, a 13 L fuel tank, 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes, and tubeless tyres sized 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear. Specifications and prices can change, so check Bajaj’s page for the latest published details.

Where the “spied” and upgrade claims come from
A BikeWale report dated 2 January 2025 covered an RS200 spotted testing before the 2025 launch. It said the test bike retained telescopic front forks and a gas-charged rear monoshock; the report discussed a new console and wider rear tyre as possibilities. That pre-launch report is not evidence of a 2026 test mule.
The 2026 upgrade claim appears in a video titled “2026 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Upcoming New Updates | TFT Display, USD Forks,” published on 10 September 2026. Its description uses tentative language such as “could be” and “expected.” That is speculation, not confirmation from Bajaj or proof that a new RS200 has been spotted. What to look for in a genuine update
A confirmed change should be supported by a dated Bajaj announcement or credible, dated reporting that identifies the motorcycle as an RS200 test bike. For a useful comparison with the documented model, check the fork type, console type and connectivity, braking and ABS equipment, tyre sizes, and price for the same market and date. Until there is stronger evidence, the confirmed RS200 specifications remain telescopic forks and a bonded-glass LCD console.
