What the model names really mean
“Bajaj CT 110” means the current CT 110X here
Bajaj’s current product page calls the motorcycle the CT 110X. Older CT 110 references can describe a different historical variant, so specifications from an old listing should not be silently merged with the current bike. Ask a dealer to write “CT 110X” on the quotation and verify the model year and variant on the invoice.
Flex Fuel is not the same as the regular HF Deluxe
The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel has its own fuel-system calibration and hardware. Hero says its system supports petrol-ethanol blends from E20 through E85. The standard petrol HF Deluxe page lists 5.9 kW and 8.05 Nm, while the Flex Fuel page lists 6.3 kW and 8.3 Nm with E85. These figures belong to different variants and should not be swapped.
Likewise, Hero’s standard HF Deluxe mileage page reports 68 kmpl as an ARAI-tested figure for the standard model. It is not a mileage claim for the Flex Fuel motorcycle and cannot be used as a direct mileage comparison with the CT 110X. See the standard HF Deluxe specifications and the standard HF Deluxe mileage page only when checking that model separation.

What Hero actually claims
Hero states that the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is compatible with E20–E85. Its June 2026 announcement says the motorcycle uses a revised ECU and upgraded fuel-system components to enable that capability. This is a manufacturer specification; it is not an independent durability or economy test.
Check the fuel situation before buying
E85 compatibility is useful only if you can obtain a compatible blend when you need it. Before paying a booking amount, ask stations on your normal routes which ethanol blends they dispense, whether the pumps are consistently available, and whether the dealer has written operating guidance for the motorcycle in your city. Do not assume that a label at one station guarantees supply across a commute, a rural route or a touring destination.

- List the fuel stations you can realistically use for your daily trip and the routes you take on weekends.
- Ask each station which blend is currently sold and how often that stock changes.
- Ask the Hero dealer to confirm the exact Flex Fuel variant, its approved blend range and the recommended service procedure in writing.
- Compare the quoted on-road price and delivery date with the CT 110X in the same city.
If E20–E85 is not available where you ride, the Hero’s defining feature may have little practical value. That does not make the motorcycle bad; it means the purchase decision should rest on the other verified equipment and the local ownership conditions instead of the badge.
Engine output and gearing: what the numbers do and do not establish
Published figures favour the CT 110X on paper
The CT 110X is listed with 115.45 cc, 6.99 kW (9.5 PS) at 7,500 rpm and 9.9 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel page lists 97.2 cc, 6.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm with E85. On those manufacturer numbers, the Bajaj has the larger displacement and higher stated peak output and torque.
Do not turn a specification table into a performance promise
Peak figures do not tell you how either motorcycle accelerates in traffic, carries a passenger, climbs a particular hill or feels at a given speed. The available material contains no back-to-back instrumented test. Rider weight, load, tyre pressure, fuel blend, altitude, wind, road surface and shift timing can all affect the experience. Use a supervised test ride on your actual roads to answer those questions.
Transmission information is incomplete for a direct comparison
Bajaj lists a four-speed, all-down transmission for the CT 110X. The cited HF Deluxe Flex Fuel page does not provide a comparable gearbox description. A dealer should confirm the Flex Fuel motorcycle’s transmission, clutch adjustment and service intervals for the exact model year rather than assuming they match a standard HF Deluxe.
Road hardware and everyday practicality
Why the CT 110X’s clearance and tyres may suit rougher routes
Bajaj lists 170 mm of ground clearance, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, Spring-in-Spring rear suspension and tube-type semi-knobby tyres. Those components are documented equipment that can be relevant on broken urban roads, unpaved connectors and speed breakers. They do not prove a particular ride comfort level or off-road ability; the conclusion is about the hardware’s intended usefulness, not a test result.

Tank size and weight affect planning
The CT 110X has an 11-litre tank and a listed kerb weight of 124 kg. A larger tank can reduce the number of fuel stops in a given routine, but actual range depends on consumption and riding conditions. No comparable Flex Fuel tank capacity, kerb weight or certified mileage is established on the cited Hero page, so do not invent a range comparison.
Braking information
Bajaj lists drum brakes with CBS at the rear. The supplied Flex Fuel specification does not state the Hero’s brake hardware. Inspect the exact motorcycle, read its manual and ask the dealer about the braking system before treating this as a safety comparison.
Features you will notice on the Hero
Hero highlights a digi-analogue meter, i3S idle-stop-start, side-stand and headlight indicators, and USB charging on the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel page. These are convenience and information features, not evidence of lower fuel consumption, stronger acceleration or lower maintenance cost.
i3S idle-stop-start
The i3S system is listed as equipment. Ask the dealer to demonstrate how it activates, how it is disabled if desired, and what the owner’s manual says about battery and starter-system maintenance. The available specifications do not provide an independent economy percentage or a service-cost figure.
USB charging and indicators
USB charging can be useful for a phone on a commute, while side-stand and headlight indicators provide additional status information. Check the location of the USB port, weather protection, supported charging output and warranty terms during the handover; those details are not specified on the cited page.

An exact local price for the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel was not stated on the cited product page. Treat any number heard in a showroom or online listing as a quote to verify, not as a national price. Request both motorcycles on the same date and in the same city, with these items separated:
- ex-showroom price for the exact variant and model year;
- registration and statutory charges;
- insurance premium and policy type;
- accessories, extended warranty or service packages added by the dealer;
- delivery date, stock location and any current discount;
- the final on-road total and payment schedule.
Local availability is especially important for the Flex Fuel model. Confirm that the motorcycle on the quote is the E20–E85 variant, not a standard HF Deluxe, and check that the vehicle identification details match the invoice at delivery.

Choose the CT 110X when your priority is practical road hardware
- You regularly encounter tall speed breakers, damaged pavement or short unpaved sections and value the listed 170 mm clearance and semi-knobby tyres.
- You want the higher listed displacement, peak power and torque of the two motorcycles.
- An 11-litre tank is useful for your routine and you accept the listed 124 kg kerb weight.
- You prefer a four-speed, all-down gearbox and want a clearly published Delhi ex-showroom reference price.
These points describe a specification-led fit. They do not guarantee that the Bajaj will be faster, more comfortable or cheaper to maintain in your ownership.

Choose the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel when fuel compatibility is the deciding requirement
- You have dependable access to E20–E85 blends on your regular routes.
- You specifically want the manufacturer’s flex-fuel system, revised ECU and upgraded fuel-system components.
- The digi-analogue meter, i3S, status indicators and USB charging matter more to you than the Bajaj’s published clearance, tank and output figures.
- Your local dealer can provide a confirmed price, delivery date and service support for the exact Flex Fuel variant.
If the available fuel is ordinary petrol only, or if the Flex Fuel motorcycle cannot be supplied and serviced locally, its headline advantage is difficult to use. Verify the operating guidance rather than relying on assumptions about the standard HF Deluxe.

When neither can be selected responsibly yet
Pause the purchase if the dealer cannot identify the exact variant, provide a written on-road quote or explain fuel and service support. Also pause if you need a certified mileage comparison: the available figures do not establish comparable mileage for these exact two motorcycles.
