There is no universal winner. The Avore EX2S is an electric motorcycle aimed at riders who can charge at home or work, while the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a conventional 349cc petrol motorcycle for riders who want quick refuelling and a familiar five-speed drivetrain. Choose the EX2S when dependable charging and mostly predictable daily travel matter most; choose the Bullet 350 when long, improvised journeys and petrol-station access matter more. The published EX2S range and acceleration figures are manufacturer claims, not independent test results, and the displayed prices are not like-for-like.
Avore EX2S vs Royal Enfield Bullet 350: the short answer
These motorcycles solve different transport problems. Avore describes the EX2S as an electric bike with a 5 kWh battery, a claimed 260 km IDC range, a claimed 114 km/h top speed and claimed 0–40 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds. Royal Enfield specifies the Bullet 350 with a 349cc petrol single-cylinder engine, 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm, 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm, a five-speed constant-mesh gearbox and a 13-litre fuel tank.

That makes a simple “which is faster?” or “which has the bigger engine?” answer misleading. An electric motor’s peak output and a petrol engine’s rated horsepower are measured and delivered differently, and the EX2S has no published torque figure in the material available here. The meaningful choice is operational:

- Pick the Bullet 350 if you regularly travel beyond a predictable daily radius, need to refuel in minutes, or prefer a manual five-speed petrol motorcycle.
- Do not choose on the displayed prices alone. Avore’s figure is an introductory offer with a customer limit, while Royal Enfield’s figure is an ex-showroom Chennai range across variants.

Powertrain: electric simplicity versus petrol familiarity
What the EX2S electric setup means
The EX2S uses a 5 kWh battery and an automatic drivetrain. In daily traffic, that means there is no clutch or gear-selection routine to manage. You plan energy around where the motorcycle can be parked and plugged in, rather than around petrol stations. This can be convenient for a commuter who finishes each day at a known location with a usable electrical socket.
Avore publishes 10.5 kW as peak output. That is not directly interchangeable with the Bullet’s 20.2 bhp rating: the units differ, the power curves differ, and the figures are published under different measurement conventions. Avore’s captured product information also does not state EX2S torque, so a torque comparison would require an unsupported assumption.

What the Bullet 350 petrol setup means
The Bullet 350 uses a 349cc single-cylinder petrol engine, a five-speed constant-mesh gearbox and a 13-litre tank. Its published output is 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The rider has conventional clutch, gear and throttle controls, and can replenish fuel through the established petrol-station network.
The Bullet’s 195 kg kerb-weight figure is listed by Royal Enfield for the specification reviewed, but equipment and weight can vary by variant. It should not be used to infer the EX2S’s weight because no corresponding EX2S figure is established here.
Range, charging and the reality of trip planning
How to read the EX2S’s 260 km IDC claim
“260 km IDC” is Avore’s claimed test-cycle range, not a guaranteed distance in every road and weather condition. Speed, payload, traffic, hills, temperature, tyre pressure and riding style can all change actual range. The available information does not provide an independent range test or a real-world range distribution, so do not budget a long trip on exactly 260 km without a reserve.
Recommended Free Tools
Avore says the EX2S can charge from a standard 5A/15A socket and that 20–80% charging takes two hours. That is a manufacturer statement. Before buying, verify the socket’s condition, earthing, circuit capacity, cable length and whether any required charging equipment is included. A socket in a shared parking area may not be available overnight, even if one exists somewhere in the building.
How the Bullet 350 changes the planning problem
The Bullet carries 13 litres of petrol, but the reviewed official pages do not establish a comparable official mileage figure. You therefore cannot responsibly convert the tank capacity into a guaranteed distance or fuel cost from the information here. Your practical range will depend on the motorcycle’s actual consumption, riding conditions and the fuel stations on your route.
Refuelling is usually a short stop rather than a multi-hour parking task, but the relevant advantage is access rather than a measured time claim: a petrol rider can use stations along an unfamiliar route, whereas an EX2S rider must find a compatible charging opportunity and allow for charging time.
Match the bike to your route
- Fixed daily commute: The EX2S is easier to schedule when you return to a known charging point every day.
- Mixed commuting and weekend travel: Check every regular destination for dependable charging before relying on the EX2S’s IDC figure.
- Unplanned intercity riding: The Bullet’s petrol format removes the need to locate a suitable electrical socket during the trip.
- Apartment or street parking: Treat charging access as a purchase prerequisite, not an accessory decision.
Performance: what can and cannot be concluded
Avore claims 0–40 km/h in 2.8 seconds and a 114 km/h top speed for the EX2S. Those numbers describe the manufacturer’s stated capability; no independent instrumented test is available here. They should not be presented as proof that the EX2S will outrun the Bullet 350 in every situation.

Royal Enfield publishes the Bullet’s power and torque at specified engine speeds but does not provide a top-speed figure in the reviewed official material. Without matching test conditions, acceleration times, gearing data and measured results for both motorcycles, declaring a performance winner would be speculation.
There is a more useful riding distinction. The EX2S’s automatic format removes gear changes, which may appeal in stop-start traffic. The Bullet offers the control and involvement of a clutch and five-speed gearbox. Whether that is an advantage depends on what you enjoy and how much urban congestion you face, not on a single power number.
Price: why the displayed numbers are not an apples-to-apples deal
Avore EX2S price conditions
Avore’s product page displayed an introductory starting price of ₹1,79,999 and a “Prebook At ₹799” message. The introductory price was limited to the first 10,000 customers. The captured page does not establish delivery timing, warranty, service coverage, complete prebooking terms or exactly what the offer includes. Ask for those details in writing before treating the displayed amount as your final purchase cost.
Bullet 350 price conditions
Royal Enfield’s India page displayed ₹1.73 lakh to ₹2.16 lakh ex-showroom Chennai across Bullet 350 variants. These are not Delhi on-road prices, and the page says prices are subject to change. Registration, insurance, taxes, accessories, handling charges and financing can alter the amount you actually pay. Select the exact variant and your city before comparing totals.

- Choose the exact EX2S or Bullet 350 variant, colour and included equipment.
- Request the current ex-showroom price for both in the same city, or request an on-road quote for both.
- Separate one-time charges such as registration and insurance from recurring costs.
- For the EX2S, ask whether the quoted price includes every charging component required for your parking arrangement.
- For the Bullet, confirm variant-specific equipment and the final fuel, insurance and registration charges.
- Compare the written totals on the same date; do not combine an introductory offer with a different city’s ex-showroom price.
Ownership questions the published specifications do not answer
Price and headline specifications are only the first part of the decision. The available product information does not establish EX2S delivery timing, warranty terms, service coverage or full prebooking inclusions. Those omissions matter more for an electric motorcycle because your ability to charge and obtain support affects whether the claimed range is useful.
Best Value
- UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Designed to fit RE models including Classic 350, Meteor, Goan Classic, and All New Bullet 350 motorcycles
- PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION: Made from high-grade aluminum material that provides superior durability and long-lasting performance
- ENGINE PROTECTION: Robust sump guard shields vital engine components from rocks, debris, and road hazards during rides
- SECURE MOUNTING: Features precision-engineered mounting brackets and hardware for stable, reliable attachment to your motorcycle
- SLEEK DESIGN: Black finish complements motorcycle aesthetics while maintaining practical protection and functionality
It also does not establish a tested Bullet 350 fuel-economy figure, a complete running-cost comparison, financing terms or owner experience. Avoid assuming that the larger-looking fuel or battery number automatically means lower cost or greater convenience. Electricity tariffs, petrol prices, charging losses, maintenance schedules, insurance, tyres and financing all vary by rider and location.
Ask each seller for:
- Written warranty duration, coverage and exclusions.
- Service locations that can support your home city and usual travel routes.
- Parts and consumables availability, including expected lead times for model-specific items.
- Delivery estimate and cancellation or refund terms for any booking payment.
- Final on-road price, validity period and every fee included.
Which motorcycle suits which rider?
Choose the Avore EX2S when these statements are true
- You can reliably park near a safe, compatible 5A/15A socket.
- Your daily travel is predictable enough to plan around charging rather than petrol stops.
- You prefer automatic operation in traffic.
- You are comfortable treating 260 km as an IDC claim and leaving a practical reserve.
- You have verified local service support, delivery terms and warranty coverage instead of relying only on the introductory price.
Choose the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 when these statements are true
- You want a conventional 349cc petrol motorcycle with a five-speed gearbox.
- Your routes include unfamiliar roads where petrol stations are easier to use than charging points.
- You prefer clutch-and-gear control.
- You want a purchase quote based on a clearly listed variant and an established ex-showroom price structure.
- You accept that the reviewed official material does not supply a comparable mileage or top-speed figure, so your budget needs a dealer quote and real owner information.
A five-minute decision checklist
- Map your week: Write down your longest regular trip, return time and overnight parking location.
- Confirm energy access: For the EX2S, physically identify the socket, permission to use it and the route from socket to motorcycle.
- Classify your long trips: If you often decide to travel farther at short notice, give greater weight to petrol-station access.
- Choose your control style: Decide whether automatic convenience or a manual five-speed experience is the better fit.
- Obtain matching quotes: Compare the same city, variant and price basis, and ask about every missing ownership term.
- Set a reserve: Do not plan the EX2S around the full 260 km IDC claim, and do not turn the Bullet’s 13-litre capacity into an assumed mileage.
Advantages and limitations at a glance
| Model | Potential advantages for the right rider | Important limitations to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Avore EX2S | Electric drivetrain; automatic operation; manufacturer-claimed 260 km IDC range; claimed 20–80% charging in two hours from a standard socket; claimed 114 km/h top speed | Range and performance figures are manufacturer claims; charging access is essential; torque, kerb weight, delivery, warranty and service reach are not established in the reviewed material; introductory price is limited to the first 10,000 customers |
| Royal Enfield Bullet 350 | 349cc petrol engine; published 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm figures; five-speed gearbox; 13-litre tank; petrol-station refuelling | No comparable official mileage or top-speed figure in the reviewed material; 195 kg applies to the listed specification and may vary by variant; displayed prices are ex-showroom Chennai and subject to change |
Final buying guidance
Choose based on the constraint that would make ownership inconvenient. If charging access is uncertain, the EX2S’s published range cannot compensate for a parking problem. If your travel is mostly fixed and you can charge safely every night, the EX2S’s automatic electric format may fit better than a petrol bike. If your priority is route flexibility, quick energy replenishment and a familiar manual motorcycle, the Bullet 350 is the more straightforward match.
Before booking either model, obtain a current city-specific quote and written answers on warranty, service, delivery and inclusions. That step matters more than declaring one motorcycle the winner from unmatched manufacturer specifications.
