There will be no 2026 model-year Audi A7 or S7 in North America, according to a statement from an Audi spokesperson reported by Road & Track. Audi’s 2026 RS 7 performance, however, remains listed on Audi USA’s website. Audi says the A7 shifts to the new A6 TFSI; that describes a lineup transition, not proof that the A6 is equivalent to every A7 version.
Is Audi discontinuing the A7 and S7?
For the 2026 model year, Audi is not offering the A7 or S7 in North America, according to the spokesperson statement reported by Road & Track on August 28, 2025. The report quotes the spokesperson as saying: “There is no 2026 Model Year A7 or S7 as the model shifts to the new A6 TFSI coming later this year.”
The statement concerns the 2026 model year. It does not establish that A7 or S7 vehicles already on sale or in dealer inventory have disappeared, nor does it establish the models’ status in markets outside North America. Audi’s newsroom directory also places A7 and S7 under “Previous models,” corroborating their departure from the current lineup without specifying an effective date.
Will there be a 2026 Audi A7 or S7?
No 2026 A7 or S7 is identified in the reported Audi statement. Audi describes the A7’s place in the lineup as shifting to the new A6 TFSI. The available information does not show that the A6 TFSI matches every prior A7 body style, specification, or feature, so shoppers should compare the particular vehicles they are considering rather than assume a one-for-one replacement.

Does the RS 7 continue for 2026?
Yes. Audi USA lists a 2026 RS 7 performance, and the spokesperson statement reported by Road & Track says the RS 7 carries on for model year 2026. Audi’s newsroom also continues to include RS 7 among Audi Sport models.
