Before treating any number as your budget, ask the dealer to identify which items are included in the quoted base car, which are optional, whether the quote includes local taxes and when the price is fixed. Also ask how currency movements are handled if the order is placed in one currency and paid later in another.
How many Aston Martin Valhallas will be made?
Aston Martin has capped Valhalla production at 999 cars. In the company’s FY2024 results transcript, dated 26 February 2025, management said: “We plan to produce 999 cars over a 2.5-year period, with more than the first full year of production already fully sold out.” That statement establishes a production ceiling and shows that demand had already consumed a substantial portion of the planned run by early 2025.
The cap is a total production plan, not an annual allocation that resets. Once 999 cars have been built, additional regular-production cars would not fit within the announced limit. A dealer therefore cannot promise an allocation merely because the configurator still lets you create a specification.

What the order milestones mean
Aston Martin initially scheduled production for the second quarter of 2025 and first deliveries for the second half of 2025. A later regulatory update reported that the first of the 999 cars was delivered in October 2025 and that more than 50 percent had already been ordered by customers. Aston Martin’s H1 2026 results then said Valhalla orders were taking deliveries into the back end of Q4 2026.
These dates describe the company’s production and delivery milestones; they do not establish a new public-order window. If you are approaching a dealer after those milestones, the only reliable way to determine availability is to ask for a current allocation position in your market and have the answer recorded in writing.
Can you still reserve a Valhalla?
You can still begin the official enquiry route, but there is no published evidence of a guaranteed remaining allocation for every market. Aston Martin’s December 2024 release directs prospective customers to the Aston Martin Valhalla configurator. The live configurator is market-specific and is intended for building a car; it does not, by itself, confirm that a production slot is available or that a completed build constitutes an order.

After configuring the car, contact an authorised Aston Martin dealer and ask whether the dealer can submit an order against an unallocated build slot. The dealer is the party that can explain the current sales programme, contract, deposit, taxes, eligibility checks and estimated delivery for your country.
Reservation process: a practical sequence
- Select your market in the configurator. Use the market-specific route rather than assuming that a specification or price shown for another country applies to you.
- Build the car you actually want. Record the specification, options, colours, materials and any personalisation choices so the dealer can quote the same configuration.
- Contact an authorised Aston Martin dealer. Ask specifically for the Valhalla sales contact and state your intended delivery country, because allocation and tax rules are market-dependent.
- Ask whether an allocation remains. Request the dealer’s current position: an available build slot, a customer cancellation, a waiting list or no available allocation. Do not treat a verbal suggestion as confirmation.
- Request a written commercial summary. It should identify the vehicle price, selected options, taxes, currency, deposit amount, payment schedule, cancellation terms and the assumptions behind the delivery estimate.

What deposit is required?
No universal Valhalla deposit amount is published in the cited Aston Martin material. Questions to ask before transferring money
- What exact amount is required, and in which currency?
- Is it a refundable reservation payment, a contractual deposit or a non-refundable commissioning payment?
- When is the balance due: at order acceptance, at build, before shipment or at handover?
- What happens to the deposit if the dealer cannot secure an allocation?
- What happens if Aston Martin changes the specification, price or delivery timing?
- Is the payment held by the dealer, and what document confirms receipt?
- Are taxes and registration charges included or billed separately?
Have the answers put into the sales contract before sending funds. The absence of a published global figure means a dealer’s written terms, not a generic online estimate, are the controlling information for your purchase.

Those figures explain why the Valhalla is being treated as a halo-level supercar, but they do not answer the commercial questions that determine whether you can buy one. How to judge an allocation offer
With production limited to 999 cars and more than half ordered by the October 2025 delivery milestone, the important distinction is between a genuine build slot and a general expression of interest. Use the following checks when a dealer says a car is available.
Check the status
- Ask whether the slot is assigned to your name or merely expected to become available.
- Ask whether it is a cancelled customer order, a dealer-held allocation or a new factory slot.
- Request the estimated build quarter and the conditions that could change it.
- Confirm whether the specification can still be changed and until what date.
Check the money
- Separate the base vehicle price from options, personalisation and taxes.
- Confirm whether the quote is fixed or can be revised before delivery.
- Check the deposit’s refund and cancellation provisions.
- Confirm the payment schedule and the account receiving the funds.
Check the delivery
- Ask who arranges transport, registration and handover.
- Ask whether the delivery estimate is tied to a confirmed production slot.
- Request a process for receiving updates if production moves beyond the estimate.
- Confirm what documentation you receive at handover for your jurisdiction.
Why reservation timing matters
The order timeline shows why a late enquiry may not behave like a normal new-car purchase.
