The Aston Martin DBX GT is a new, comfort- and refinement-focused version of the DBX, introduced on 1 October 2026 alongside the more performance-focused DBX S. It pairs revised seats, chassis hardware and quieter GT-mode exhaust tuning with a twin-turbo V8 rated at 727PS and 900Nm. Aston Martin scheduled first deliveries for Q4 2026; that timing is a plan, not confirmation that deliveries have begun.
What the DBX GT is—and how it differs from the DBX S
Aston Martin positions the GT as the more discreet, luxury-oriented member of its SUV range, with the DBX S retaining the sporting emphasis. The distinction describes the manufacturer’s intended character, not a road-test verdict. Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark said the GT is aimed at customers who “prefer assured elegance over sporting aggression and demand a higher degree of luxury.” Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman described its design approach as one that “downplays its outright performance and instead exudes a quiet charisma.” These are statements of intent from the company’s executives.
The launch materials describe the GT’s comfort changes but do not provide a full, like-for-like equipment or pricing comparison with the DBX S. They therefore establish the GT’s direction, rather than proving that it rides better or represents better value.
Power and published performance figures
The GT is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 rated by Aston Martin at 727PS and 900Nm, paired with a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission. The company says the engine is tuned for smooth, measured response. Those outputs keep the GT firmly in high-performance territory even as its character is aimed at comfort.

Wallpaper’s 2026 launch coverage reports a 0–60mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193mph as published launch specifications. These are not independently tested results.
What Aston Martin changed for comfort and refinement
Seats and cabin
Both front and rear seats have new forms, enhanced cushioning and redefined bolstering. Aston Martin says their comfort curves are intended to balance support with everyday use. The exterior also takes a more elegant, less overtly aggressive direction, while the cabin receives more detailed craftsmanship.

Chassis, controls and ride
Aston Martin recalibrated throttle response and transmission shift feel. Hardware updates include a new transmission-mount bush and two longitudinal dampers linking the body and rear subframe. The manufacturer says these changes are intended to improve refinement, ride compliance and composure, particularly through larger suspension movements; this is the company’s description, not an independent assessment.
Exhaust and drive modes
A dedicated exhaust tune is intended to reduce harsh metallic frequencies. GT mode is designed for quieter progress, while Sport and Sport+ bring back a louder exhaust character when desired.

Wheels and tyres
The standard package pairs 22-inch wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season tyres. Buyers can choose optional 23-inch wheels with either Pirelli P-Zero Summer or Scorpion Zero All-Season tyres. Aston Martin’s launch release does not state tyre sizes, so check the precise fitment for the vehicle and market with a dealer or tyre specialist before ordering replacements.
