What does the quarterly and monthly data show?
First half and second quarter of 2025
Kelley Blue Book/Cox Automotive estimated 10,712 U.S. Cybertrucks sold in the first half of 2025, down 7.3% from the first half of 2024. In Q2 alone, the estimate was 4,306, a 50.8% year-over-year decline for that quarter. These are different comparison periods: the first-half figure compares six months with six months, while the Q2 figure compares one quarter with the same quarter a year earlier. The monthly estimate fell to 1,194 U.S. Cybertrucks in November 2025, the lowest monthly figure of that year in the available data. Why “flatlining” needs qualification
“Flatlining” suggests sales have stopped changing or collapsed to nearly zero. The measured picture is more specific: estimated U.S. sales contracted substantially in 2025, with a particularly low November. The annual comparison shows a sharp decline, not a literal absence of sales.
The model-level figures come from Kelley Blue Book/Cox Automotive. Tesla’s quarterly production and deliveries release reports deliveries in broader vehicle categories rather than identifying a separate Cybertruck total. What 2026 market figures can—and cannot—tell us
Current 2026 market reporting does not establish Cybertruck-specific sales. Kelley Blue Book/Cox Automotive reported 247,226 U.S. EV sales in Q2 2026, up 14.7% sequentially but down 20.5% year over year; Tesla’s first-half sales were off more than 10%. Likewise, full-size pickup sales rose 2.5% year over year in June 2026, while small- and medium-sized pickup sales rose 12.3%. Those category-wide numbers are not a direct comparison with Cybertruck sales: they cover different groupings, not a same-period, model-level comparison from a common source. - For the clearest model-level comparison available here, use the 2025 annual U.S. estimate against the 2024 annual estimate.
- Use quarterly comparisons only against the same quarter in the prior year, and do not treat the Q2 decline as the full-year rate.
- Keep U.S. estimates separate from Tesla’s broader, company-reported delivery categories.
- Do not infer Cybertruck-specific 2026 sales from total Tesla sales, EV-market totals, or pickup-category growth.
