What is the Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory?
The Tuono 660 Factory is Aprilia’s naked 659 cc sport motorcycle, presented on the company’s current U.S. product page as a 2027 model. The official page describes its combination of a 105 hp twin, Öhlins suspension, a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), electronic rider aids and double-fairing bodywork. Aprilia’s U.S. product page is the source for that current market framing; the detailed hardware figures below come from the company’s technical specification sheet.
“Factory” is reflected most clearly in the listed chassis equipment: fully adjustable Öhlins fork and shock, alongside Brembo radial front calipers. Aprilia also lists an extensive electronic control suite. Those features describe the equipment, not proof of better safety, lap times or road performance; no independent test results are established here.
How much power does the Tuono 660 Factory make?
Aprilia’s technical sheet lists a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with 659 cc displacement, producing 105 HP (77.2 kW) at 10,400 rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 8,400 rpm. What does the Factory version add?
Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes
The specification sheet lists a fully adjustable 43 mm Öhlins inverted (USD) fork and a fully adjustable Öhlins rear monoshock. Listed wheel travel is 110 mm at the front and 130 mm at the rear. The chassis is a twin-spar aluminum frame.
Braking hardware comprises Brembo radial front calipers with twin 320 mm front discs and a 220 mm rear disc. Aprilia identifies this premium suspension and brake hardware as part of the Factory specification; the source material does not provide a direct, model-to-model comparison with another Tuono version.

Rider electronics and controls
Aprilia’s technical sheet itemizes the electronics, while its U.S. page groups the controls under the a-PRC name. The listed functions include:
- A six-axis inertial platform and cornering ABS with three maps and rear-wheel lift-up mitigation.
- Traction control and wheelie control.
- Launch control, cruise control, engine maps and engine-braking adjustment.
- Five riding modes and Aprilia Quick Shift.
The equipment list tells you which controls are provided, not how they behave in every riding condition. Settings, rider input and road conditions still matter; these features should not be read as a guarantee against a crash or loss of control.

Display and bodywork
The technical sheet lists a bonded 5-inch TFT display and backlit handlebar controls. Aprilia also describes double-fairing bodywork as an aerodynamic feature. The company says the fairing channels air pressure to improve high-speed stability, diverts direct airflow for rider comfort, and directs hot engine air away from the rider. These are manufacturer design claims, not independently validated findings.
