Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The Annobike A2 Bow and Arrow were two frame styles in one urban e-bike range: the Bow used a lowered top tube for a more relaxed riding position, while the Arrow used a conventional diamond frame and was described as sportier. Launch coverage from 2021 also reported different motor, battery, drivetrain and brake configurations. Those figures are historical product claims, not current specifications or independent test results.
What is the difference between the Annobike A2 Bow and Arrow?
The main distinction was frame geometry. The Bow had a lowered or sloping top tube; the Arrow had a traditional diamond frame. Launch coverage characterized the Bow as the more relaxed option and the Arrow as sportier. Both were described as urban commuters with a hub motor, removable battery integrated into the frame, narrow tires and a rigid front fork.
| Feature | Bow | Arrow |
|---|---|---|
| Frame | Lowered or sloping top tube | Conventional diamond frame |
| Riding character reported at launch | More relaxed or leisurely | Sportier |
| Motor versions reported | 250 W or 500 W Bafang G060 | 250 W or 500 W Bafang G060 |
| Drivetrain and brakes by motor version | 250 W: chain and mechanical disc brakes; 500 W: toothed carbon belt and hydraulic disc brakes | 250 W: chain and mechanical disc brakes; 500 W: toothed carbon belt and hydraulic disc brakes |
The drivetrain should not be inferred from frame style alone: launch reporting maps chain and mechanical brakes to the 250 W versions, and belt drive and hydraulic brakes to the 500 W versions. CapoVelo’s August 2021 launch account also associated chain drive with the Bow and belt drive with the Arrow, but the more detailed version mapping indicates that motor configuration matters.
What motor, speed, battery and range were reported?
Launch coverage described 250 W and 500 W Bafang G060 motor options. It reported assistance up to 25 km/h for the 250 W version and up to 32 km/h for the 500 W version, while another launch account said the 250 W model could assist up to 32 km/h in one account and 25 km/h for European units. These are historical descriptions, not a reliable statement of the configuration sold in any particular market. E-bike speed and power rules vary by jurisdiction, so check the rules that apply where you intend to ride before treating a configuration as road-legal.

Reported removable-battery choices were 10.5 Ah and 14.5 Ah, with Samsung cells identified in launch coverage. CapoVelo reported estimated ranges of up to 70 km and 80 km respectively; other coverage described an estimated 70–80 km range. These were estimates, not independently measured real-world results. Actual distance depends on factors such as assistance level, terrain, rider and cargo weight, temperature, battery condition and riding style.
Híbridos y Eléctricos reported a 16 kg weight for the Arrow, but that figure was not established as applying to every version. The launch accounts do not provide a consistent, independently verified specification set for every market and configuration.

Is the Annobike A2 still available?
Current production and retail availability could not be confirmed. The available launch-era coverage does not establish that the A2 is still being made or sold, and no reliable current manufacturer listing was identified. Avoid relying on old crowdfunding prices as present-day offers.
Híbridos y Eléctricos reported that an August 2021 crowdfunding campaign was limited to 100 bikes, and that three had been reserved when its article was written. It listed campaign prices of €899 for the Arrow 250 and Bow 250, €949 for the Arrow 500, and €1,049 for the Bow 500. Those were historical campaign prices, not current retail pricing.

- Identify the exact version: confirm whether it is a Bow or Arrow and whether it has the 250 W or 500 W configuration.
- Inspect the battery: check its condition, capacity label, charging behavior and whether a compatible replacement is available. A removable battery is useful only if it remains serviceable.
- Check the drivetrain and brakes: the reported 250 W configuration used a chain and mechanical disc brakes; the 500 W configuration used a toothed carbon belt and hydraulic disc brakes. Verify what is actually fitted and its condition.
- Confirm local compliance: establish the motor rating and assistance behavior, then compare them with current local e-bike requirements.
- Ask about support: warranty terms, manufacturer support and spare-parts availability could not be confirmed from the launch reporting.
