What “move beyond cars” means for ALSO
ALSO describes itself as an electric mobility company that began inside Rivian. Its focus is smaller vehicles for local trips and goods movement, serving both consumer and commercial customers. That is a different scale and use case from Rivian’s cars and trucks, rather than a claim that ALSO has left electric vehicles behind.
ALSO’s current product lineup makes the idea concrete: a bicycle-style electric vehicle for individual mobility and a four-wheel pedal-assist vehicle intended to carry people or cargo. The company’s about page describes its origins and direction, while its official site presents both products.
How ALSO’s plans developed
In March 2025, ALSO announced a broad small-EV strategy, $105 million in outside funding, and an expected flagship launch in 2026, initially aimed at the U.S. and Europe. By May 2026, Rivian was identifying the TM-B as ALSO’s flagship e-bike. That progression shows how the earlier strategy took shape in a specific product.

On July 31, 2026, TechCrunch reported that TM-B Launch Edition bikes were shipping from the manufacturer toward ALSO’s U.S. warehouse after delays. ALSO expected customer deliveries between August and September. That was a reported plan; it does not establish that every buyer received a bike in that window.
TM-B: ALSO’s flagship electric bike
The TM-B is the closest match for someone thinking about a smaller electric vehicle for everyday personal trips. Rivian’s May 4, 2026 article lists features that ALSO describes, including navigation, lights, turn signals, anti-theft features, a touchscreen, and a USB-C battery. The company stated that the battery offers up to 100 miles of range.

Those are published product claims, not results from an independent test. The available reporting does not provide a like-for-like road test against competing e-bikes, so it is not enough to rank the TM-B on real-world range, ride quality, or value. Rivian’s article also notes that its views and opinions are those of ALSO and do not necessarily represent Rivian’s official position.

The TM-Q extends ALSO’s idea beyond bicycle-style mobility. ALSO describes it as a four-wheel pedal-assist vehicle for uses ranging from cargo to passenger transport. That points to a different role from the TM-B: instead of an individual e-bike, the TM-Q is intended to move people or goods on a larger platform.

The company’s TM-Q page describes the vehicle, but the available information does not establish independent performance results or a direct comparison with other cargo and passenger vehicles.
What buyers can and cannot conclude about availability
TechCrunch reported a $4,500 price for the TM-B Launch Edition and the planned August–September 2026 delivery window. Because that report described shipping to ALSO’s U.S. warehouse and expected deliveries, it should not be read as confirmation of current stock or completed delivery. Price, inventory, and test-spin availability can change; check ALSO’s official site for current product and availability information.
ALSO’s site also lists a Gear Shop and accessories. The company offers product-build and test-spin actions, but locations and availability may vary. No particular marketplace listing or affiliate arrangement is established here.
