The Eco Proace Revolution is a Campervan Co conversion of Toyota’s Proace Electric, not a factory-built Toyota camper. Its defining feature is a cabin that can switch between a four-berth camper and passenger-carrying layouts by removing the kitchen block and reconfiguring the seating. The figures and equipment below were reported by New Atlas in 2023; they should not be read as a current order specification.
What the Eco Proace Revolution is—and isn’t
Campervan Co built the Eco Proace Revolution around the Toyota Proace Electric. Toyota supplies the base van; Campervan Co carries out the conversion. That distinction matters when checking current availability, warranty, servicing, or whether a vehicle can be registered in a particular market. The New Atlas report does not establish the conversion’s present order status or price.
Toyota has offered camper conversions in some markets, but those are not proof that this specific Campervan Co model is currently available. For example, Toyota Spain lists Proace Verso Camper and Proace City Verso MiniCamper versions, with removable kitchen and sink equipment, as well as vehicle/adaptation warranty and legalization information. Its page does not establish current availability or pricing for the Eco Proace Revolution: Toyota Spain’s Proace camper page.
How the cabin changes from camper to passenger van
In the reported camper arrangement, the van has four seats and four sleeping berths. A two-seat rear “Rock’n’Roll” bench folds into a double bed, while a second double bed is in the pop-up roof. The removable kitchen block helps free cabin space when the van is used for passengers rather than camping.

New Atlas also described an optional passenger-seat arrangement that raises capacity to as many as seven. The report does not specify every seat configuration or the exact steps needed to change between layouts, so buyers should confirm the seating and legal configuration for the vehicle they are considering.
Reported camper equipment
- A removable kitchen block with an induction cooker, sink, and wood worktop.
- A cooker platform that can be used inside or pulled outward for cooking outside.
- A removable dining table.
- A pop-up roof with the second double bed.
These are details reported in 2023, not a verified current specification. The report does not name a cooktop model.

Battery, range, and camping power
New Atlas reported two traction-battery choices for the underlying Toyota Proace Electric: a 50 kWh pack described as standard and a 75 kWh pack as an upgrade. It gave WLTP ranges of 230 km (143 miles) and 330 km (205 miles), respectively. Those are reported base-van figures, not an independently tested range for the converted camper; added conversion weight and driving conditions can affect actual use.
Camping appliances were described as running from a separate 230 Ah, 24 V lithium leisure battery, rather than the traction battery. New Atlas also listed a 240 V hookup and solar input of up to 930 W. Campervan Co estimated that the system could support up to two weeks unplugged, as reported by New Atlas; the report did not provide test conditions or independent verification for that estimate. It also does not establish whether the conversion can export power from the traction battery to run appliances.

How to compare it with another compact camper
The useful comparison is not just range or bed count. Before choosing a converted electric van, establish how it works as both a vehicle and a living space:
- Seats: Confirm how many seats remain in camper mode and how many are available after the conversion is changed.
- Sleeping: Check the number and arrangement of berths, and whether the roof bed and bench bed suit the people who will use them.
- Kitchen: Find out whether cooking equipment is removable, where it can be used, and what power source it draws from.
- Range and payload: Compare the traction-battery size and test-cycle range, then ask how the conversion affects payload and real-world driving range.
- Off-grid equipment: Compare leisure-battery capacity, solar input, and hookup options; distinguish a manufacturer or converter estimate from a tested result.
- Ownership details: Verify conversion warranty, legal approval or homologation, service support, market availability, and the exact vehicle specification.
The available published details do not support ranking this conversion against alternatives across those measures.

Don’t confuse it with Toyota’s 2026 electric van
Toyota announced that its Japan-market Pixis Van BEV went on sale on February 2, 2026, with a stated cruising range of 257 km. It is a separate kei commercial van, not the Proace Electric or the Eco Proace Revolution: Toyota Motor Corporation’s Pixis Van BEV announcement.
Toyota Japan lists a 100 V accessory outlet with up to 1,500 W capacity, external power-cord access, V2H compatibility, and an eight-year/160,000 km battery-capacity warranty for the Pixis Van BEV. Those specifications apply to that Japan-market model and cannot be assumed for the Proace conversion: Toyota Japan’s Pixis Van page.

A different Proace camper: the diesel Lerina
Toyota GB announced the diesel-powered Proace Lerina in 2018, a conversion by Wellhouse Leisure with a pop-up roof, folding rear bench, solar panel, and optional removable seats. Toyota GB’s spokesperson said: “Wellhouse Leisure was our choice for an official conversion specialist to turn our award-winning Proace – the What Van? Medium Van of Year – into a comfortable and highly practical campervan.” That statement concerns the 2018 diesel Lerina, not the electric Eco Proace Revolution: Toyota GB’s 2018 Proace Lerina release.
