The clearest low-price example with a published torque figure is Kawasaki’s Eliminator: its 2026 U.S. specifications list maximum torque of 31.7 lb-ft at 7,500 rpm. Honda’s Rebel 300 E-Clutch and Rebel 500 have published prices but no numeric torque figure in the available product information. The right comparison is therefore a short, qualified guide—not a fabricated top-ten list.
Why this is not a verified top-10 ranking
A fair “cheapest” list needs current U.S. base prices for the same model year, with destination charges shown separately. A torque comparison also needs manufacturer figures in stated units and at a stated engine speed. The available 2026 model information does not establish all of those details for ten cruiser motorcycles, so descriptive phrases such as “rich V-twin torque” cannot fill the gaps or be ranked against measured specifications.
Prices below are manufacturer-listed U.S. figures. They are not out-the-door quotes: dealer charges, taxes, title, license and registration can affect what a buyer pays. Honda displays destination in its total MSRP on the cited product information, while Kawasaki lists destination separately.
Verified 2026 U.S. examples
| Motorcycle | Manufacturer-listed price | Published torque information |
|---|---|---|
| Honda Rebel 300 E-Clutch | $5,349 base MSRP, plus $600 destination (Honda Powersports, 2026 product information) | Numeric torque figure and engine speed not stated in the cited product information. |
| Kawasaki Eliminator, non-ABS | $6,499 base MSRP, plus $650 destination (Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., 2026 model page) | 31.7 lb-ft maximum torque at 7,500 rpm (Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., 2026 specifications). |
| Kawasaki Eliminator, ABS | $6,799 base MSRP, plus $650 destination (Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., 2026 model page) | 31.7 lb-ft maximum torque at 7,500 rpm (Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., 2026 specifications). |
| Honda Rebel 500 | $6,799 base MSRP; Honda displays $7,399 total MSRP including $600 destination (Honda Powersports, 2026 product information) | Numeric torque figure and engine speed not stated in the cited product information. |

| Suzuki Boulevard C50T Special | $9,779 base MSRP (Suzuki Cycles, current cruiser lineup retrieved in 2026) | Numeric torque figure and engine speed not stated in the cited lineup information. |

What the torque figure does—and does not—tell you
The Eliminator’s 31.7 lb-ft figure is a maximum at 7,500 rpm, not a full description of how much torque the engine produces at low or mid-range speeds. A peak figure alone cannot establish which motorcycle feels strongest in ordinary riding or which one pulls best from a stop. That judgment requires comparable torque curves or consistent riding tests, neither of which is established for these models here.
Honda describes the Rebel 500 in terms of low-rpm torque, but the cited 2026 product information does not provide a numeric value. Suzuki calls its lineup’s V-twin character “rich V-twin torque”; that is descriptive manufacturer language, not a torque measurement. Neither statement can be treated as a directly comparable spec.

How to compare affordable cruisers before buying
- Compare like-for-like prices. Start with the same model year and trim, and keep base MSRP separate from destination, dealer fees, taxes and registration.
- Check the torque spec, not just the sales language. Look for a numeric figure, units and engine speed. A maximum torque value does not show the whole power curve.
- Choose ABS deliberately. The Eliminator’s listed base MSRP differs by trim: $6,499 non-ABS versus $6,799 ABS, before the separately listed destination charge.
- Evaluate fit and ownership needs. Seat height, curb weight, engine layout, service access and intended riding matter alongside price and peak torque.
- Confirm current local availability and final price. Manufacturer MSRP is not a dealer quote, and the cited pages do not establish a buyer’s location-specific out-the-door cost.
